BEAST DOME FANTASY FOOTBALL

THE ALL-BEAST TEAM (2015)

By Muntradamus

BEAST DOME NATION.

As you all know by now, when I make my Rankings, I do them from complete scratch. I do not read what ESPN has or any other site, I do all my Rankings and Stat Predictions 100% on my own and come up with the results, on my own. When I am right on a player who somehow is sitting in your draft room a handful of rounds later than expected, I am usually the only one right on that player and he could easily lead you to your Championship.

This group of players represents, THE ALL-BEAST TEAM.

THE ALL-BEAST TEAM

In order for a player to make this list, I have to be the one of the Top 99.99% of Experts who was wrong on a player. More often than not, I am on an Island with these players as the Top Ranked Expert. When I am correct on a pick, more often than not I am on an Island as one of the few, if not only Experts who was High on a Player. These are the players that will have you come back year after year, even if you were never a VIP.

Before we jump into everyone, let us talk about.

MATT STAFFORD

First Fantasy Football article of the year was about drafting Matt Stafford because of his easy Dome end of season schedule among other things.

THE LION KING

Stafford had a rough 3 game stretch early in the season where he went up against Denver/Seattle/Arizona, all of those games he was Must-Bench. Despite that 3 game struggle, Stafford was a BEAST this season. He finished with his best statistical season since his breakout 2011. 3 straight bad years, and all Fantasy Experts were bashing Stafford heading into 2015.

From Week 12-Week 16, Stafford threw for 14 Touchdowns and 1 INT. He made everyone as happy as they can be on Thanksgiving, but most important of all.

Tom Brady/Aaron Rodgers/Andrew Luck/Big Ben/Peyton Manning/Tony Romo/Matt Ryan were all drafted ahead of Matt Stafford, and all scored less Points than Matt Stafford in the Fantasy Playoffs.

So while he was not the #1 QB this season, he led many of you to a Championship if you had him during your playoff run. Like I predicted.

QB

RYAN FITZPATRICK – NYJ

MUNTRADAMUS RANK QB #12

ECR RANK QB #31

Fitzmagic has been a popular QB on BEAST DOME since last season when he was part of the popular strategy to all in on protecting Arian Foster. Everyone gave me a lot of yack for my love with Fitzmagic, but quickly a majority of the VIPs and now all of BEAST DOME love Fitzmagic more than any QB. I am sure many of you want to see the Jets win the Super Bowl. Jets Record for Passing Touchdowns in a season, plus 4,000+ Passing Yards. Oh. Oh. Fitzmagic.

RB

CHRIS IVORY – NYJ

MUNTRADAMUS RANK RB #10

ECR RANK RB #21

At the end of the season we are only going to have 7, maybe 8 Running Backs who rush for over 1,000 Yards. Chris Ivory seemed like he was on pace to rush for 1,000 Yards by Week 5. Ivory propelled many BEAST DOME teams to automatic wins to start the season, unfortunately for him and all of BEAST DOME, Ivory started to break down and the BEAST who carried everyone is now more or less a Risky RB#2. Bilal Powell looks good, but Ivory at the end of the day got it done and got you to a Playoff Spot if you owned him.

RB

LATAVIUS MURRAY – OAK

MUNTRADAMUS RANK RB #11

ECR RANK RB #15

The ranking differential between me and the Experts is not that large, but I did Rank him higher than every Expert this season. Right now Latavius is one of four RB’s who have rushed for over 1,000 Yards heading into Week 17. Latavius was a very steady RB who gave consistent production. It was amazing he did not break out for any Monsterous games that you will remember for a life time, but his future is probably brighter than most Running Backs. He will definitely be part of the Draft Strategy in 2016. In the tone of Notorious, “LA-TAVIUS.”

WR

BRANDON MARSHALL – NYJ

MUNTRADAMUS RANK WR #7

ECR RANK WR #19

Not only is Brandon Marshall the MVP of BEAST DOME, he may be the MVP of all Fantasy Football. Brandon Marshall carried everyone to a Championship in Week 16 if you were in that position, and his 13 TD’s have him tied for 2nd at WR. Brandon Marshall was a superstar from Week 1 all the way through Week 16, no Expert gave him any love at all this Preseason, while Brandon Marshall was easily the #1 target for all VIPs on Draft Day. Brandon Marshall alone was worth the price of VIP.

WR

DOUG BALDWIN – SEA

MUNTRADAMUS RANK WR #40

ECR RANK WR #56

This is not an excuse me correct ranking. Doug Baldwin was a major part of the Draft Strategy if you owned Jimmy Graham and Marshawn Lynch like many VIPs did. Baldwin was a vital part of the Seahawks last season, but for some reason it took an injury to Jimmy Graham and Marshawn Lynch for Doug Baldwin to break out. Baldwin has now recorded 11 Touchdowns in the last 5 games, as well as breaking the 1,000 Yard Marker. Doug Baldwin along with Brandon Marshall have been carrying BEAST DOME teams throughout the Playoffs, and this ranking deserves a lot of credit.

WR

JAMES JONES – GB

MUNTRADAMUS RANK WR #23

ECR RANK WR #69

James Jones was the greatest Diamond in the Rough of all Fantasy Football WRs. The second James Jones was on the Packers, he got a post on the BEAST DOME instagram, and then I followed it up with the article.

This is not a one Night Stand.

Everybody called me crazy for liking James Jones more than Davante Adams, all those people shut up and now read BEAST DOME quietly. If you followed my in-season advice I gave you plenty of opportunities to sell-high on James Jones, even to land Golden Tate who had a HUGE 2nd Half.

TE

BEN WATSON – NO

MUNTRADAMUS RANK TE #12

ECR RANK TE #28

I will admit that Ben Watson was not a major part of the Draft Strategy, simply because there was no need to get another TE behind Jimmy Graham, so we all thought. Turns out the guy who replaced Jimmy Graham in New Orleans ended up with a much better season than Graham. 766 Yards and 5 Touchdowns going into Week 17, Watson was a great sleeper who turned out to be a Top 10 TE. While he was not part of the Draft Strategy, I definitely was hating on Josh Hill even when every Fantasy Expert was all over him to start the Preseason, always had Ben Watson ranked as the guy.

ALL- BEAST BENCH

QB

DEREK CARR – OAK

MUNTRADAMUS RANK #16

ECR RANK #25

Nobody had faith in Derek Carr, but I loved the additions of Michael Crabtree and Amari Cooper. That with Derek Carr and his Brett Favre arm where he was not afraid to throw the ball anywhere. Derek Carr was amazing with a stretch of 3 consecutive games with 3+ TD passes, and 31 TD’s later, he was an obvious draft day steal.

QB

BLAKE BORTLES – JAX

MUNTRADAMUS RANK #19

ECR RANK #26

Bortles was a big part of the 2 QB League Strategy I had for the VIPs. Little did we know, Bortles was going to end up being a Top 5 QB this season and is easily someone that will only do better as his career progresses. In 2014 I compared Bortles to having a Matt Stafford arm to the VIPs, this season he had his Matt Stafford Breakout season with 35 TDs heading into Week 16, the future is bright.

RB

DARREN MCFADDEN – DAL

MUNTRADAMUS RANK #30

ECR RANK #42

Like I said earlier, only 7 maybe 8 Running Backs are going to rush for 1,000 Yards. Darren McFadden is one of those players, and many ranked him well below Joseph Randle who was handed the starting RB job to start the season. I saw right through that horrible move and was a DMC supporter throughout the Preseason, in the end he was an absolute BEAST.

RB

RONNIE HILLMAN – DEN

MUNTRADAMUS RANK RB #36

ECR RANK RB #52

Ronnie Hillman looked so good this preseason, that we all knew the days of Montee Ball were over. Obviously deserving some reps this season, I gave Hillman a nice boost. Little did we know CJ Anderson would be consistently hurt, even though he hurt his ankle during the preseason. Ronnie Hillman ended up being a solid RB who is nearing 850 Total Yards and 6 Touchdowns heading into Week 17. He has more Fantasy Points in PPR Leagues, than Eddie Lacy.

RB

JAMES STARKS – GB

MUNTRADAMUS RANK RB #40

ECR RANK RB #73

James Starks was another player who looked very explosive this preseason. When Jordy Nelson went down, it meant someone will have to step up in the Packers offense, and with Eddie Lacy going to see the ball all the time, James Starks would have to play a vital role in keeping Lacy fresh. In the end Lacy played nearly the entire season injured, and James Starks has 950+ Total Yards and 5 Touchdowns heading into Week 17.

RB

DEANGELO WILLIAMS – PIT

MUNTRADAMUS RANK RB #54

ECR RANK RB #70

This pick will not count for FantasyPros as they only record your Top 50 RBs, but I did love DeAngelo Williams during the preseason and made sure everyone knew that he looked more explosive than I have ever seen him. Even in the first Thursday Night Lights where DeAngelo got the start, I made sure to tell you all there that he was ready to BEAST.

WR

MICHAEL CRABTREE – OAK

MUNTRADAMUS RANK WR #29

ECR RANK WR #55

Nobody in the universe outside of BEAST DOME gave Michael Crabtree any love. Crabtree is not only a Superstar, he put up Superstar numbers as he needs a big Week 17 to eclipse 1,000 Yards. Even with the nice Yardage total, Crabtree was a TD monster and easily one of the best steals on Draft Day with his 8 TDs for a 9th/10th Round Pick.

TE

CHARLES CLAY – BUF

MUNTRADAMUS RANK TE #11

ECR RANK TE #23

Charles Clay was a Top 10 TE for most of 2015, too bad he got injured and had to cut his season short. The only reason Clay is on this list is because I have been a supporter of him since his Dolphin Days and I loved his opportunity with the Bills. Many of you probably know, Clay was on my DraftStreet Fantasy Football Championship team back in 2012, special place in my heart.

TE

ERIC EBRON – DET

MUNTRADAMUS RANK TE #18

ECR RANK TE #26

The future is here. Ebron will be a target for all of BEAST DOME in 2016, he has so much potential and he has just begun the start of what is going to be a BEAST career. Health was a problem for Ebron in 2015 and he did drop more passes than he should have, but he is just getting started.
