  1. Hey Muntradamus! I’m a long-time reader, first-time poster. I finished my draft last night, and while I feel ok about it, I think I need to make a move before the season starts. I’m in a 16 team standard ESPN league. This is what my squad looks like:

    QB – Matt Schaub
    RB – Chris Johnson
    RB – Michael Bush
    RB/WR – Sidney Rice
    WR – Brandon Marshall
    WR – Steve Johnson
    TE – Antonio Gates
    DEF/ST – NY Giants
    K – Shayne Graham
    Bench – Jacquizz Rogers
    Bench – Danny Amendola
    Bench – Jermaine Gresham
    Bench – Devery Henderson
    Bench – Bilal Powell
    Bench – Jahvid Best
    Bench – AJ Jenkins

I was thinking about making move for Matt Ryan and/or Willis McGahee. The two specific offers I was thinking about are Bush and the NY Giants for McGahee and Arizona. The other I was thinking about would be Schaub and Gates for Matt Ryan and Brandon Pettigrew. Would those have a chance to get accepted? Are they beneficial to my team? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

  2. Miles thanks for posting, always encourage the community to come alive.

Both those trades would be beneficial to your team, I do not see them getting accepted however.

The position you are reaching for in both trades is more valuable than the position you are giving up. Your team is solid besides the fact you have a RB ready to go Week 1 with the full load.

Check my weekly Rankings and see if any players stick out where you can drop Best and Jenkins.

  3. Hi Muntradamus, this is my first year playing fantasy football. I followed your advice closely for the 2012 fantasy basketball league last year to great results and would like your opinion on my team and advice on where my weaknesses are and who to pick up/ trade for, etc. for this year’s football league. Just had my draft yesterday, 12 man PPR ESPN league. And my players thus:

    QB: Tom Brady
    RB: Ahmad Bradshaw
    RB: Cedric Benson
    WR: Victor Cruz
    WR: Vincent Jackson
    TE: Jimmy Graham
    Flex: Reggie Wayne
    D/ST: Steelers
    K: Stephen Gostkowski
    Bench: Beanie Wells
    Bench: Jacquizz Rodgers
    Bench: Danny Amendola
    Bench: Greg Olsen
    Bench: Brandon Lafell
    Bench: Jake Locker
    Bench: James Starks

    Thank you very much :)

  4. Louis glad to see you back at the Dome.

Team looks very solid, did you use the DraftGuide?

I cannot find any weakness and your bench has great upside, including JacQuizz.

    James Starks is droppable.

  5. yup followed the draft guide for the most part, but someone snagged McGahee early in the fourth so couldn’t get him on the squad.

Who would you recommend picking up for James Starks?

    Thanks for all your help.
