FANTASY FOOTBALL WAIVER WIRE BEAST OR BUST (WEEK 5) DAMIEN WILLIAMS

FANTASY FOOTBALL WAIVER WIRE BEAST OR BUST (WEEK 5)

DAMIEN WILLIAMS

By Muntradamus

BEAST DOME NATION.

Week 4 I told you Chubba Hubbard was going to be a BUST as everyone went all out to grab him. 70+ Total Yards and an unimpressive performance leave him as a barely roster-able player with CMC set to miss only a game or two more.

Rondale Moore was the flavor of the week off the Waiver Wire heading into Week 3, with 7 catches and 144 yards with a TD. I told you all he was a BUST. Probably back on every Waiver Wire already.

It took less than 7 days to prove the point after Moore finished with 2 catches and 1 yard. 1 Yard? Even a backup TE will have better games than that, and here everyone under the sun was saying he was MUST-ADD!

After Week 1 it was Elijah Mitchell that everyone told you to grab off the streets with 100+ Rushing Yards and a TD after Mostert went down. I told you he was a BUST. Has not been a factor since.

Mitchell is probably back on most waiver wires already, heading into Week 4.

Now we are heading into Week 5

THIS WEEK WE HAVE DAMIEN WILLIAMS

When I was a non-believer of Clyde Edwards Helaire when he was drafted as an early RB in Fantasy Football his Rookie Year (which he did BUST). It was because of my belief in Damien Williams.

CLYDE EDWARDS-HELAIRE

(CLYDE & GO BUST) 2020

Damien Williams was the reason the Chiefs won the Super Bowl a couple years ago. Yes Mahomes made magic happen, but Damien Williams was the gamechanger at RB that really sparked the Chiefs in the playoffs.

Despite Damien Williams opting out of the 2020 season, I was still saying CEH was a BUST as all the Sheep rushed after him in the First Round 1. (Fresh BUST of Helaire).

The Bears offense this season has been very sour to say the least in 2021. Ya they had a bit of a breakout against the Lions, but this offense is leaning towards going back to Andy Dalton which means this offense is ready to go back to be being below average. With that being said, there is still enough where this offense can score 2-3 TDs in a game against an easy opponent.

Damien Williams is explosive. He is a playmaker. He is out to prove something after the Chiefs got rid of him. If the Bears can have a productive game and score those 2-3 TDs, you know Damien Williams will be part of it.

While David MontyG may only be out a month, a player I ranked higher than every expert last season in a breakout year, it is a month where Damien Williams will put up RB2/RB1 numbers. Since we have not had a BEAST all year yet, this is the closest thing we have. With that, for the first time, I say.

VERDICT: BEAST
