MUNTRADMAUS BOOT CAMP DAY 31A\nTHE DIRTY BIRD (ATLANTA FALCONS)\nBy Muntradamus\nThe Falcons. A team that many of us were heavy with in 2016, and a team that made it to the Super Bowl. Are they going to be the Panthers of 2016 and crash? Or is this team for real?\n\r\n*NOTE all teams will be complete by Thursday. In the process of moving to a new location which will be my BEAST cave of 2017.\n\r\n\nDEFENSE\nB\nThe Falcons already improved Defense from the past decade got better with the addition of DT Dontari Poe and Rookie Takk McKinley at DE. Both of these players with Grady Jarrett and Adrian Clayborn give the Falcons a solid D-Line. Vic Beasley is a Sack Master and having the same core of Deion Jones and the young talented Freak Devondre Campbell makes this Falcons Front 7 extremely strong.\n\nThe Secondary remains the same with a very solid core of Desmond Trufant and Robert Alford at CB, the safety combo of Sophmore Keanu Neal and veteran Ricardo Allen reminds us, this Falcons Defense is not a walk in the park like they once were.\nOFFENSE\nA\nThe only thing that has changed for the Falcons offense is a new offensive coordinator. They hired Steve Sarkisian who was the Head Coach at USC for a few years before going to Alabama and being the OC over there. This move is going to be horrible in the long run. Not having a NFL coach call NFL plays on a consistent basis against some of the most crafty masterminds of our time, is not going to help the Falcons.\n\nRegardless of the move, the Falcons have a ton of talent.\n\nMatt Ryan (QB1) should still be an automatic Top 10 QB despite losing his best friend in Kyle Shanahan. Let us not forget that Julio Jones (WR 1) played a majority of the 2nd half of the season at less than 100%. He should be 100% ready to go, 2000 Yards is more than possible. With Mohamed Sanu (WR3) and Taylor Gabriel (WR4) becoming factors where teams cannot double Julio as frequent. There is debate Julio can be the #1 WR off the board.\n\nAs far as running the ball. Both Tevin Coleman (RB3) and Devonta Freeman (RB2) are nearly guaranteed to put up big numbers every week as a tandem. The Falcons have the same offensive line, only problem with these is consistency. Regardless, the Falcons offense should be able to make both productive when it is all said and done.\nIF MUNTRADAMUS WAS COACH\nRun the Falcons exactly what they did last year. Why fix what isn't broken. I am nervous about Sarkisian who does not have the experience to do the job correctly. Julio Jones and Matt Ryan should still get their numbers.\n\nIt is hard to imagine the Falcons offense being better in 2017 with a new coordinator, but they can definitely match a similar level to 2016.\nEARLY DRAFT STRATEGY\nJulio could be #1.\n\nMohamed Sanu can be a late sleeper, nothing more. Until Gabriel goes down.\n\nProbably going to skip Matt Ryan this year, he will go too high.\n\nProbably going to skip Freeman\/Coleman this year.
