WNBA PAY ME BITCH

WNBA PAY ME BITCH

BEAST DOME NATION.
The WNBA, a product that was hardly watchable, now became a little more watchable. Caitlyn Clark really changed the landscape of the league coming in as a Steph Curry legend. Caitlyn Clark would drill 3 Point shots from near half court, she would score 30+ frequently in college, sometimes 40+ Points. Rookie Year she continued the magic dropping 30+ Points a few times, but most importantly, the Race Baiting began and WNBA turned into an interesting event.
For the first time in a few seasons, the WNBA is turning around as a somewhat popular league. Angel Reese is playing better and her MeBounds has turned into a movement. Caitlyn Clark has been injured, and the league is sort of holding its own without her, only because of gambling degenerates who have to bet on everything. Even I made a vow to myself to never bet on WNBA, I took a chance and jumped on a trend of betting against players who were on their periods, lost, never picked it up again since.
Players like Paige Bueckers is becoming a star, Kelsey Plum continues to be a hated Bitch for throwing shade at Caitlyn Clark even when discussing the T-Shirt decision to wear the “Pay Us What You Owe Us” T-Shirts while saying no members of Caitlyn’s teams were there for the decision. All-in-All, I still do not like the WNBA.
I could not name another player outside of those listed in this article besides Sophie Cunningham and Aliyah Boston, but those are only due to Caitlyn Clark being their teammates. Okay and Aja Wilson who is actually really good Kevin Garnett/Tim Duncan good, and Sophie for competing well against Steph Curry in the 3 Point shootout a couple years ago. The others mentioned in this article, not really talented basketball players more just making headlines because of their attitude. Which brings us to the question, should the WNBA players be paid more?
Caitlyn Clark should be paid more, the others can go suck it. If Caitlyn Clark’s career ended tomorrow, the WNBA is over in general. Caitlyn has been battling injuries this season, she also has been battling a little bit of racism, she is the Jackie Robinson of the WNBA. If Caitlyn Clark was not in the league today, nobody would care about the WNBA. In fact watching how poorly everyone else in the WNBA treats Caitlyn Clark makes me want to watch the sport even less.
When Wayne Gretzky was in his prime and bringing more fame to the NHL, players went out of their way to make sure to raise Gretzky up and not end his career with tons of body checks into the walls. In the WNBA it is different, you have a bunch of jealous haters angry that a white girl is coming all up in their league and making headlines and stealing the spotlight from everyone else. Who wants to support that?
It will be interesting to see how the second half of the WNBA season goes as far as viewership. Right now the Fever (Caitlyn Clark’s team) is in 6th Place and only the Top 8 teams make the Playoffs. IF Caitlyn does not make the playoffs, the WNBA could see a huge downward spiral heading into the next season where it will all again be on the shoulders of Caitlyn Clark to rise the WNBA back to primetime.
While the WNBA has definitely made strides since Caitlyn Clark joined the league, the actions of the other girls in the league make the sport unwatchable and insufferable. When deciding if you are going to watch a new TV show and binge 5+ seasons, you want to make sure you enjoy the characters. The WNBA has no enjoyable characters outside of Caitlyn Clark, and the fact that all the other characters go out of their way to not like Caitlyn Clark rises her stock, but devalues everybody else.
