FANTASY BASEBALL ALL BEAST DOME TEAM MAY (2025)

By Muntradamus

BEAST DOME NATION.

Another month of the MLB season is complete and we are nearly 1/3 of the season through. You can view the All-April Team here. At this point, you kind of know who is going to BEAST or BUST this year. If the players who were struggling in April continued to struggle in May, then June is their last hope to a good season. There are some players who completely wake up in July after the All-Star Break who forgot to hit all year, but June is that fork in the road month where numbers better start looking respectable by the time the month is over. For those sluggers who have slugged both April and May, well those guys are ready for their Shakey’s Pizza Party at the end of the season to celebrate that 2025 was their year. First they have to continue the madness in June.

CATCHER

The BEAST DOME Legend is finding his stroke and is on pace for a near 30 HR season as he hit a bomb in the famous Dodgers/Yankees series. The more I get into Austin Wells, the more pain it brings up, so I will leave this here if you want to read anymore about him and his history to BEAST DOME.

1B

Tork is a big reason the Tigers are in 1st Place as he has been manning the 1B position like the boss he was supposed to be. Tork is on pace for a 30+ HR season and to do that in Detroit is basically like a 40 HR season. That Detroit ball park has to be one of the worst hitter parks in all of baseball, feels like the walls just keep getting further and further away. Tork is currently Top 10 in HRs in the MLB with 14 bombs, or as the Tigers fans say, Tork Bombs.

2B

Jackson has woke up and the #1 Pick Prophecy is looking like it will pan out. Jackson Holliday if he keeps it rolling can end up with near 30 HRs in 2025, which is putting him on a crazy career trajectory at just 21 years old. He is the real deal.

3B

Muncy is on fire! 6 HRs in the last week! Max is on pace for a 30 HR season easy with the way he is swinging the bat. When Muncy comes up to bat they used to play Brass Monkey in Dodger Stadium back in the day, and right now he is swinging that Funky Muncy.

SS

Story should have made the team for All-April but I was getting creative showing Nico and Raf last month as the 2B/SS combo to make the list. Story was on his way to a lock for comeback player of the year in April, but slowed down a bit in May. Despite the slow month, Story is on pace for 20+ HR/20+ SB which would be pretty amazing if you ask me.

OF

Last month the OF trio of Mullins/Trout/Yelich led the way for the All-April Team. While you can argue all those guys should be back here, we will show our depth and show you three more guys who are on their way to strong seasons. Soler found his groove, 30+ HRs is automatic. Buxton is leading the charge for the Twins and he is on his way to his best season in some time. Buxton sits at 10 HR/10 SB, last time he had those numbers was 2019. Last time Buxton was healthy for a full season was 2017. George Springer also showing he has something left in the tank, and is on pace for a 20+ HR/20+ SB season something he has only done once.

SP/RP

Duran has been the BEAST DOME closer all season, and he will finish that way. He is the only returning member of the All-April team which is pretty amazing. Duran owns an ERA at 0.99 on the season! 9 Saves already after a slow April, Duran can easily end up with 40+ especially if the Twins catch fire.

Chris Bassitt is highlighting a pretty injury prone year of BEAST DOME pitchers getting injured. Blake Snell and Tyler Glasnow were my 1-2 punch, turns out Yamamoto is going to win all the awards I had them pegged at. Bassitt owns a 3.80 ERA with 69Ks in 66 INN to go with 5 Wins. Not bad a for a 36 year old.
