DAILY FANTASY BASEBALL BEAST BASH
April 26th 2019
The world of Daily Fantasy Baseball is something different everyday. There will always be the sleepers, there will always be the Busts, and what I am here to show you, Who are the BEASTs! These are the players you should consider on your Daily Fantasy Roster for April 26th. Having the right combination of these players below will give you a BEAST Daily Fantasy Baseball Performance to grow your bank account.
JT REALMUTO VS. URENA
Urena does not have the chops to face a veteran stacked Phillies lineup. While the Phillies are less than 100%, the Ex-Marlin will sure to get his swings in against the Ace he caught all of last year. While Urena has good speed, when he falls behind counts and runners get on base, he will unravel quickly. JT Realmuto should be good for a few doubles towards the gap, one of them can easily find its way out of the ball park.
JOSE ABREU VS. DANIEL NORRIS
Jose Abreu is starting to get red hot hitting over .400 the last few games. Daniel Norris is a wirey lefty who does not have enough speed to burn anything past Abreu. With the game also in Chicago, Norris can find himself in a lot of trouble if he does not get the batters surrounding Abreu. Draft Jose, get those RBIs and one of those line drives can be a HR.
EDWIN ENCARNACION VS. SHELBY MILLER
There are a few things that are pretty amazing about some MLB Rosters. One of those amazing things is how Shelby Miller manages to find his way onto a MLB roster after not being relevant for multiple years. Shelby does not have the speed to get a pitch past Edwin, nor enough movement to fool his bat. Shelby Miller is better set to keep the ball away from the strikezone entirely from Edwin. Unless Shelby wants to give up a souvenir.
DEE GORDON VS. SHELBY MILLER
Speed Gordon is going to get on base against Shelby Miller, and when he does that will be an automatic SB. Dee can find himself with multiple SB opportunities, as well as a lot of run opportunities at that extended leadoff #9 hitter. Whoever is catching has zero chance of throwing him out on any attempt. Not even a pitchout.
MATT CARPENTER vs. ANTHONY DESCALFINI
Carpenter has yet to get his season going the way he was rolling in 2018. Despite that fact, he is still crushing the ball very hard and scores on base nearly everytime he gets on. Descalfini is not that great of a pitcher, and do not be surprised to see Carpenter wait for his pitch to crush to the upper deck. Carpenter will get it done for you.
RYON HEALY VS. SHELBY MILLER
Healy is starting to get hot, and he will thrive with the red hot Seattle Mariners offense pushing around him. Healy has always shown the potential to be a 30 HR guy, and with everyday PT on a hot team, that reality is looking possible. When Kyle Seager comes back, expect Seager to come off the bench. Healy is crushing in 2019.
TIM BECKHAM VS. SHELBY MILLER
Beckham is seeing the ball very well and he is now in the heart of the Mariners offense. Sometimes batting cleanup, Beckham is starting to get his power swing going with 2 HRs in less than a week. You know Shelby will not be able to blow anything past him in this matchup. When the ball is on the tee, Beckham will know what to do with it. Sleeper SB potential as well with this pick.
BRYCE HARPER VS. JOSE URENA
It has been a while since Bryce Harper has hit a HR, but a pitcher like Urena who throws mid 90s down the middle at times can be exactly what Bryce ordered. If Urena throws the pitch to Bryce, you know Bryce will know what to do with it. Pay up for the BEAST.
MIKE TROUT @ DAN DUFFY
Trout is still playing like a MVP despite being on a horrible team that has suffered a lot of injuries already. Danny Duffy is making his first start of the season, and seeing the best player in Baseball is probably not what Duffy wants to experience. If Danny throws anything in the strikezone with his low 90s/high 80s fastball, Trout will line it all over the ball park.
MALLEX SMITH VS. SHELBY MILLER
Mallex should be back in the leadoff spot, and if Mallex gets on base, there will be SBs and Runs guaranteed to go with whatever else he does out there. Mallex could even hit a HR in this ball game and he becomes one of the most dangerous Fantasy Options on this Friday Slate. Pairing him up with Dee Gordon could be a HUGE bonus when they both try to steal bases at the same time.
MITCH HANIGER VS. SHELBY MILLER
Haniger is hitting the ball like a true All-Star, a matchup against Shelby Miller will not be a challenge at all. Haniger should have runners on base, he should hit the ball hard around the entire field. The Mariners are going to be scoring runs, Haniger will be part of it.
DOMINGO SANTANA VS. SHELBY MILLER
The last leg of the Seattle Mariner Express, Domingo Santana. Santana is showing what he could do with an everyday job, and job secuirty. Santana will have plenty of RBI opportunities all game long. Get him on your squad. Maybe the Fantasy MVP on April.
ANDREW MCCUTCHEN VS. JOSE URENA
The Phillies offense needs McCutch to be the true spark plug with no Jean Segura. McCutch is seeing the ball well and has shown good power this season. A high fastball from Jose at 95 with the proper McCutch Loft he can get under that. Do not be surprised to see a lead off HR from Andrew McCutchen to star the game.
There are your BEASTs of the day. Wish you all the success in the world for this Daily Fantasy Baseball Friday. We will be back again tomorrow with another slate.
