  1. Beast Nation,
Considering trading Eli for Ben. 2 QB league, I have Luck and Wallace. Talk me out of it.

  2. thanks Muntz. i’ve got the following receivers in my PPR league:

Brandon Lloyd (@ home vs Bills)
Jeremy Maclin (@ home vs Cowboys)
Cecil Shorts (@ home vs Colts)
    Titus Young (@ Vikings)

i need to pick 2 WR’s and 1 FLEX. based on your rankings, i should go with Lloyd, Maclin and Shorts. buuuuuut i’m tempted to start Young instead of Maclin:

    – eagles offense is a mess and they’re up against Dallas who don’t give up much to opposing WR’s
    – lions throw the ball a lot and often and Vikings passing D seems to be shaky…

    talk me out of this!!!

  3. Playing Matt Stafford this week..I want to follow the “I Sunk Your Battleship” Strategy and start J. Hanson at kicker but a few of the higher ranked kickers are also available on waivers (Suisham, Tucker, Prater) Would you recommend the rankings or trying the strategy?

  4. would it be smart to play both Reggie bush and Daniel Thomas? im weak at running back with only the two and Tawain Jones and Steven Jackson against 49ers D

  5. hey Munts, Which 2 of these WR should i start?

    Vincent Jackson
    Wes Welker
    Malcolm Floyd
    Dez Bryant
    Davone Bess
    Rod Streater

  6. I really need help. I need to start 2: Leshoure, Jennings, Vick Ballard Steve Smith. Someone please give a compelling argument.

  7. Hey Munt!
Based on your rankings I should start S.Johnson,Harvin and Amendola as my 3 WR’s. Harvin is very D for the game against Lions. Amendola comes from serious injury and plays against the 49ers. I have E.Sanders,T,Young and D.Jones on my bench. I have a game against player who has Starks (bye), Garcon (bye) and Vick,Maclin,McCoy,Henery (bad offense against good defense) and H.Nick (banged up). He never changes his startng lineup….never has. I know because I’m the commissioner in this league. So…..should I just play it safe and leave Harvin and Amendola out and replace them with E.Sanders and T.Young/D.Jones? I can easily see Harvin been a GT decision and give me zero points if he plays. Or see Amendola been pulled out and not risk a injury in first game back. If Harvin doesn’t play then what should I do?

How strongly do you suggest playing J.Rodgers in flex this week over J.Dwyer or J.Bell? How do you see KC vs. PIT and ATL vs. NO games developing up? I now have J:Bell in flex because I think that they will have to throw a ball in this game and he was more productive in last game than Leshoure. I see those Leshoure’s TDs as a fluke. I would like Dwyer a lot better if I knew what kind of workload he is getting against the poor Chiefs. Do you see him getting a TD in that game? How do you see Rodgers been used against the Saints? It’s still Turner who carries the ball. Or so you see the same as DEN vs. NO game where McGahee had to come out for a breather because of those long gains and while then Hillman just went crazy? :D

Thanks…I hope you find time to look at this situation and answer.

    PS. Sorry my bad english.

  8. Started D.Avery at the flex (just for adding some element when watching the game). I got solid 6p.

Also added T.Jones as a stash and potential flex starter for next week ( OAK vs. NO).

My roster no looks like this:

    Starters:

    QB: M.Stafford @MIN
    WR1: S.Johnson @NE
    WR2: T.Young @MIN
    WR3: E.Sanders vs. KC
    RB1: R.Rice vs. OAK
    RB2: J.Charles @PIT
    TE: J.Witten @PHI
    flex: D.Avery @JAC 6p
    K: S.Suisham vs. KC
    DST: 49ers vs. STL

    Bench:

    J.Dwyer vs. KC
    J.Bell @MIN
    P.Harvin vs. DET
    D.Amendola @SF
    J.Rodgers @NO
    T.Jones @BAL

Harvin is a big question mark for Sundays game against the Lions…but I can see N.Washington out there in waivers. If he clears waivers he is free agent tomorrow. Could he be better start than E.Sanders or T.Young? If I pick him up…who should I drop? Or what should I do with my WRs? I know S.Johnson is automatic start if he plays, but I need just to play safe this week…..no risks because my opponents team looks like this and he won’t change his lineup:

    QB: M.Vick vs. DAL
    WR1: J.Maclin vs. DAL
    WR2: H.Nicks @CIN
    WR3: D.Bess @TEN
    RB1: L.McCoy vs. DAL
    RB2: J.Starks bye
    TE: T.Gonzalez @NO
    flex: P.Garcon bye
    K: A.Henery vs. DAL
    DST: CHI vs. HOU

  9. Taiwan is supposed to start this week last time I checked, so keep an eye on him and if he’ll be starting this weekend, I would take him over starting a backup in the same game as your other RB. Just diversifying your risk a little bit.

  10. Looking ahead to WK11 – I have Freeman as my QB1, Carson Palmer is available on waivers and have an available bench spot – Would Palmer be the better play for wk11 again New Orleans instead of Freeman against CAR wk11?

  11. TB D/st or Jets. Bucs could get some turnovers at home to offset the points they should give, but the Jets D can play well on the road at times. Rex could confuse the rookie. I just cant choose one.

  12. N.Washington got pick from the waivers before me.:( So I’m still stuck with:

    T.Young
    S.Johnson
    E.Sanders
    P.Harvin
    D.Amendola

S.Johnson seems to be ok for Sunday, but it’s not sure thing yet. T.Young is questionable but practiced Friday. His status for the game is uncertain. Harvin is is doubtful for Sunday’s game against Detroit and Amendola is questionable.

I was unable to get N.Washington, but if S.Johnson or T.Young can’t play, should I pick up D.Jones as insurance? Should I drop T.Jones or J.Rodgers to pick him up? Or should I just stick with this roster?

PS. I see no answers or post here so much anymore. What happened? People used to be very active in here.

  13. No better option than Bucs or Jest available? I think that Lynch will run all over against the Jets and Wilson has not been fooled so much lately. But from those two..I would definitely start Bucs.

  14. Titus will play. The Lions have limited his practices the past few weeks due to lingering knee problems.

  15. Hey Munt,,

Need some advice for my flex (12 team, non PPR, standard scoring, 1 pt per 10 yds receiving and rushing), I am thinking about starting Jamaal Charles but I have Dez Bryant, Marcel Reece and Daniel Thomas available for the spot as well. Please help. Thanks!

  16. Not much is available. I had been rolling with vikes early in the year but they have fallen off the map recently. Lions are there but i dont like divisional matchups like that. Too much risk. They are a bit more appealing with harvins doubtfulness.
