KERRYON MY WAYWARD SON (PRESEASON VOL 2)

By Muntradamus

BEAST DOME NATION.

So you are not ready to throw in only $50, literally the cost of a date taking me out to dinner and picking my brain with everything you need to dominate your draft this year. Pretty much having a rock solid Draft Strategy where you will leave your draft feeling confident like you are ready to BEAST no questions asked. That is your call. I will still help you out a bit and leave you some bread crumbs here and there, but of course as you all know it is not fair to the people who paid for me to give out too much.

BEAST DOME DRAFT GUIDE VOL IV.

The BEAST Strategy is like nothing you have ever seen before. From Head to Toe this Strategy is unique and it will give you the winning EDGE to BEAST your League.

KERRYON JOHNSON – DET

Is a player we are all watching this preseason that I will share my thoughts on. You can read Vol 1 here, and after watching him play his first preseason game. Wow this guy is good. He is Marshall Faulk meets a young Terrell Davis. The guy has special talent and is ready to be a Fantasy Football BEAST.

However you cannot forget how many times the Lions would run for no gain on 1st Down, run for 2 yards on 2nd down, then have 3rd and long to make something happen. Lions offense needs a guy like LeGarrette Blount to run like a bowling ball for 4 yards on 1st down to set this offense up. We also did not see Theo Riddick, but why throw the ball to Theo despite how good he is when you got Kerryon. We also saw Abdullah run hard, but Kerryon is a better RB.

In the end, this Kerryon Johnson is going to be a very special for many years. What will the Lions do to free up some playing time? He could be a threat to a fantasy roster as the season rolls on, but right now he is not someone to base your strategy around. If you end up with Johnson, you likely did not have a good enough strategy going in. He could be special, but he could ride your bench for a while.

Some other things I saw this preseason to help you all out.

JERICK MCKINNON – SF

Blame it on the Goose, Blame it on the leg, Blame it on the 49ers GM Office. Whoever did their scouting to make McKinnon one of the highest paid RBs in the NFL really screwed up.

JERICK MCKINNON BURNING MONEY ARTICLE

McKinnon does not look good at all. Cannot break tackles, not really that fast either. Yes he will get his PT because the 49ers paid him way too much money, but he is not the most talented RB on that team. Watching the 49ers this Preseason do not be surprised to see Joe Williams win good Playing Time, and who knows what Alfred Morris can bring to that offense, he ran for over 1000 Yards with Kyle Shanahan in Washington in what seemed like a decade ago. DO NOT DRAFT MCKINNON.

RONALD JONES – TB

While it seemed like Ronald Jones had a great shot of being the RB for the Bucs, that is far from the case. Ronald Jones looks like Ronnie Hillman, some speed, but does not really know how to use it. What Hillman had going for him, he was on the greatest offense there was with Peyton Manning and the Broncos. What Ronald Jones does not have, is that offense. Jones is on a losing Bucs team and he definitely does not look ready to be a fantasy contributor in Year 1. Maybe when the Bucs are out of it completely Jones will get some work, but whoever drafts Ronald Jones early clearly does not watch Preseason Football.
