FANTASY FOOTBALL BUSTS:
The Brady Bunch (Week 2)
BEAST DOME NATION.
The results have come in for Week 1. Not as good of a start as last season, but a good building point for me to continue to feed off of. The players in this article is players I have big differential over the others on FantasyPros. The ECR = Expert Consensus Ranking, the other rankings is my ranking. Remember, just because I have a player on this list does not mean bench them. I am just giving you their value on where I am going to rank them, some come with a lot more risk than others, while others have upside.

FANTASY FOOTBALL BUSTS (Week 2)
QB BUST OF WEEK 2
TOM BRADY – NEP – QB
Touchdown Tommy turned into less than 200 Yard Tommy. I wish I ranked him lower, but I expected at least 2 TDs. Still a good call to start the week. *This pick was locked in before Thursday Nights game.
MATT STAFFORD – DET – QB
The Arizona Cardinals defense is no joke. Patrick Peterson should do his best to keep Megatron from being a Monster. That is enough to not like Stafford as a Top 10 option.
RUSSELL WILSON – SEA – QB
The Seahawks are going to run-run-run-run-run-run-run. Not a good week to depend on Russell Wilson and that arm.
RB BUST OF WEEK 2
JAMAAL CHARLES – KC – RB
Jamaal will still have nice week just missing out on a top 10 performance. But Top 5? That is pushing it against this Dallas Front 7. He is still the type of player that can break a long TD run whenever he wants.
CJ SPILLER – BUF – RB
I’m surprised more experts are not afraid of Fred Jackson. F-Jax was a Top 10 RB in 2010 and if it was not for injuries, who knows how much he would have been used. He is 100% and the Panthers already have a strong Run D.
MATT FORTE – CHI – RB
He can catch, he can run. The Vikings do have a strong run defense, but Forte can still get his fantasy numbers. Despite that, I do not see them being Top 10 Quality, unless it is a PPR League.
ALFRED MORRIS – WAS – RB
If this game gets out of hand for Washington quickly, we could see Roy Helu for a lot of the game. I would make it a point to tamper my expectations for Morris and hope this game remains close.
LAMAR MILLER – MIA – RB
The Dolphins will be looking at Daniel Thomas more and more as the season progresses, and we could see ‘DT’ show up this week and take the job away. That is what my Rankings predict as I have Daniel Thomas at #33.
WR BUST OF WEEK 2
JULIO JONES – ATL – WR
Bad knee is bad enough, the fact he is playing the Rams is not very good. On top of that with Roddy White at less than 100% you can expect the Rams to make sure Julio does not beat them. Cortland Finnegan will do what he can to keep him in check, because they know he is the difference maker. Julio was my original #2, but limited practice has me a little worried as far as BREAKOUT games go.
LARRY FITZGERALD – ARI – WR
Hamstring injury sounds bad. This could have been a dream matchup for Fitz, but now if you own him I would start the safer big name player. Not Anquan Boldin, but definitely a Marques Colston type player. Fitzgerald was my original #3 WR, the hamstring injury does scare me enough to think that 80 Yards is about the right projection.
ANTONIO BROWN – PIT – WR
The Steelers offense is going to be a joke this season. Especially when playing the Bengals on the road for Monday Night Football. The Steelers will be lucky if Big Ben throws for over 200 Yards in this one, Antonio is due for a bad game here.
TORREY SMITH – BAL – WR
Two words for you. Joe. Haden. Look at what happened to Mike Wallace, Torrey is no Mike Wallace.
GREG JENNINGS – MIN – WR
Two words for you. Christian. Ponder. Horrible QB that makes every WR he has worthless.
TE BUST OF WEEK 2
TONY GONZALEZ – ATL – TE
Love Tony G as a TE, but this season he looks slow. The Falcons could lean on Tony more this week, but if he does not get that TD or 80 Yards, he is not a Top 3 TE this week with the other options on the board.
KYLE RUDOLPH – MIN – TE
Against the Bears we could see Rudolph blocking more than going out for passes. Kyle is a good TE, but Ponder is a QB that does not throw the ball enough. Especially well when he does. If Rudolph was on the Patriots with Gronk, he would be Top 5.
K BUST OF WEEK 2
GREG ZUERLEIN – STL – K
This is the type of game that could be very long drives with not a lot done. Meaning that each team will only get around 5 possessions a half. That is not good enough to get dependable numbers from Greg The Leg.
BLAIR WALSH – MIN – K
Once the Vikings start trailing big time in this game, we can see the Vikings abandoning FGs and start needing those TDs desperately I do not like Blair this week.
D/ST BUST OF WEEK 2
COLTS D – IND – D/ST
Colts D is a little overrated in my eyes. They do have nice safeties but their corners could have trouble this week. This is the first time we will see how good their new pass defense is.
