The question remains, “Will Russ Cook?”

In Seattle, Russell would cook at times, but overall he was very inconsistent. Seems like every year I talk about the inconsistency of Russell Wilson to the now point where the sheep finally see it, and that is why he is a QB who is floating right around the #10 QB off the board.

Now throw everything out the window. Russell goes to Denver a team with talented WRs in Sutton/Jeudy who have done great without a real QB. Both of these WRs are very underrated, and as long as Russell can get them the ball, which he can, they will make plays for him. KJ Hamler is interesting, Okwuegbunam is maybe the most overhyped backup Fantasy TE in the industry. When has Russell Wilson made a TE look good? Just ask people who were part of the, “Silence of the Graham.”

Russell has weapons. The Broncos offense can make plays, they can drive down the field, their offensive line is top-notch, their running game is top notch. Nathaniel Hackett is a good offensive mind. So we ask again for the third time in the article. Will Russell Cook?

The answer is yes. Cook at a good temperature that will perform like a QB1 more often than not. Is he the BEAST DOME QB? No, because as good as Russell Wilson is, there are better situations out there. Wilson could do what he does best, start the season on fire, be an early MVP candidate. Then as we head into December when it matters the most, he will disappear with the cold weather.

Will Russell Wilson challenge Peyton Manning numbers? I would not go that far at all. It is important to remember, as good as Wilson is, the Broncos have a running game that can take over at times with Javonte Williams and Melvin Gordon. Expect the Broncos to run the ball more and more as the weather gets colder, as well as run the ball more and more when they have commanding leads over some of the garbage teams they play in their non-division schedule. Broncos will even run often if it is working, and it will work.
