5 PLAYERS THAT WILL BUST YOUR FANTASY FOOTBALL DRAFT

5 PLAYERS THAT WILL BUST YOUR FANTASY FOOTBALL DRAFT
By Muntradamus
BEAST DOME NATION.
It is that time of the year, when Preseason is complete and the table is set for another Fantasy Football season. Before you go head first into your Fantasy Football season, you must decide your sources. When I started BEAST DOME in 2010, there were a few Fantasy Football sources, now every kid that lives in a basement is trying to be a source, and sadly the kids in the basements have larger followings than me. No explanation for it, but I do not compete in that realm, I compete in my realm. However scrolling through Instagram I see all these “Wannabe Experts” giving their takes on players that can win your league for you with cool graphics. Well if you listened to the those guys, or some other guy from another Fantasy Football website on these players below, your season is off to the wrong start.
ASHTON JEANTY
The more I watched Ashton Jeanty this preseason, the less I liked him. Ashton Jeanty does not have amazing speed, and his power compared to NFL players is about average as far as falling forward on tackles. The area that has me the most concerned is three times this preseason Ashton Jeanty has gone after big contact, running body to body trying to truck a defender. Out of those three times, Jeanty has been injured twice. Now nobody is reporting the last one in the game against the Cardinals, but there is a reason he never came back in the game when all the rest of the starters stayed in. Would not be surprised if Mostert/White/McCormick become more involved as the season continues. Ashton Jeanty is still a Top 15 RB, but he is falling closer to #15 and unless it is Round 3, I am passing on the Rookie who is now going up against real defenders.
TREVEYON HENDERSON
Rhamondre Stevenson had fumble issues last season with the Patriots, this season Mike Vrabel is giving Stevenson a blank slate and Stevenson looked like Prime Marshawn Lynch in his first preseason game. Combine that with Antonio Gibson being the best 3rd down RB in the NFL, and Henderson is really in-between two strong RBs vying for playing time. Henderson is being drafted in the 3rd Round/4th Round, whatever round he goes in is too early. Henderson will be on the Waiver Wire in Fantasy Football leagues before the end of October, not exactly a great way to spend a high Draft Pick.
RJ HARVEY
The Broncos have 4-5 better RBs in their backfield than RJ Harvey. This preseason the Sheep really took the bait when using stats during the preseason like most snaps, most carries, etc. It is the preseason for a reason, and getting a rookie his reps is usually a priority so the team can evaluate what they have. What the Broncos likely learned this preseason is RJ Harvey will not be on the field very often. I see Harvey going as early as Round 3, to me he is not even a Top 50 RB in Fantasy Football this season.
TRAVIS HUNTER
Rumor has is it the Jaguars are not going to play Travis Hunter that much at DB, which makes you think, why in the world would the Jaguars select Hunter over Emeka or T-Mac? Hunter is not that talented of a WR, he is not the fastest, or the strongest, or has the best hands. Hunter is lucky to have a great QB in T-Law throwing him the ball which can help keep him relevant, but Travis Hunter being drafted in the first 6 rounds of a Fantasy Football draft is crazy, even drafting him at all. If the Jaguars do play Travis Hunter at DB, there is no way he has the stamina to play both sides effectively. If the Jaguars only play Hunter at WR, good chance they realize he is not even the second best WR on their roster.
JUSTIN FIELDS
Okay let us give the Rookies a break and go with a veteran QB. Justin Fields was a Top 10 QB to the ECR to start the Preseason! Now the Sheep are finally waking up to something I have been screaming for since the start of the Summer, Fields is a terrible passing QB. While Fields has amazing legs and can run himself into some sexy Fantasy Football games, the reality is he can also throw himself into some of the worst Fantasy Football games you can ask for. If Fields does not get that rushing TD, he is looking closer to a QB outside the Top 20, I have him closer to 30. Fields really cannot throw the Football, and I am not trying to draft a QB who cannot throw a Football.
There are plenty of more BUSTS in the Fantasy Football Draft Guide, but these are some of the Few that you MUST avoid if you want a chance to win your league. If you really want to win your league get the BEAST DOME DRAFT Guide and you will be able to coast on auto-pilot.
