If it was Week 1 of the NFL Season and I told you the Bears had a chance to beat the Packers at home, you would probably disagree. If I told you the Packers lost their top 2 WRs and top MLB, you would not even listen to me.

Despite these woes the Bears are going through. They do have something they can hold their head very high about. The two headed RB combo of Jordan Howard and Tarik Cohen is working to an extent. Cohen is making explosive plays, Howard is running with power and the combo just beat the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Going up against the Packers is a bit of a different story, especially in Green Bay. We have seen Matt Forte run all over the Packers in the past decade, but the Packers Run D is improved. How good would I say? They were able to beat the Bengals down 21-7 at halftime by just taking out the running game. Bengals tried to run out the clock, ended up running themselves into the loss column for the 3rd straight week.

Aaron Rodgers at Home on Thursday Night Football just spells a great game for the future Hall of Fame QB. The return of Randall Cobb to the lineup is vital for GB as he has proved to be the true and only short yard/medium threat. Cobb should get his healthy targets that will open up the entire offense. The Bears did a nice job limiting Big Ben, but Rodgers is a much better QB and Big Ben could have had a HUGE day if he made a few better throws. Rodgers also has more weapons that will do a good job of getting open against a Bears Defense that only has so much talent in their secondary.

Between Aaron Rodgers at home and the return of Randall Cobb. The Packers will find a gameplan that works in beating the Bears. Once the Bears fall behind and they have to lean less on their running game, that is when the game is over instantly. The second Mike Glennon looks to make throws down the field, that is when the Packers will pull away and win this game convincingly.
