NFL DRAFT ROUND 1 FANTASY FOOTBALL N’KEAL HARRIS
BEAST DOME NATION.
Forget what you have seen from your favorite college athlete. None of that time matters when they are in college, the pros are an entirely new field. Let us look at the most appealing Fantasy Player in Round 1.
WR – N’KEAL HARRY (PATRIOTS)
On the outside, the guy looks like a potential star. Great size, great speed, great strength, great hands. So what is there not to like about N’Keal? Besides being a rookie learning the Patriots system. A system that many NFL WR Legends like Torry Holt and Chad Ocho Cinco Johnson never go a hold of.
The Patriots Depth Chart.
Julian Edelman will be the slot.
Outside WRs are potentially; Phillip Dorsett/Demaryius Thomas/Maurice Harris. When you see that list, N’Keal does have the potential to break that core this season. Mo Harris could be a lot better than people think, first time he will actually have a BEAST QB. Demaryius, it has been a while since he had a guy like Brady as well. Coming off an Achillies injury, there is upside for Harry. Dorsett has the most chemistry with Brady than any of these guys. While N’Keal can be an impact player, for him to get consistent reps this season would mean he would have to BEAST from Day 1. There is certainly potential for that.
I will say that N’Keal would make an excellent Keeper in Dynasty leagues. The Patriots are grooming him to be the #1 WR, Demaryius will be the perfect mentor. However the rotation could get sloppy to start the season, making N’Keal nothing more than a WR3 potential, until things clear up where he could emerge into WR2 status. It is way too early to even give him that rank, we have not even started the breakdown of all the teams in the NFL.
