I AM JAPANESE. MUNETAKA MURAKAMI (THE END)

BEAST DOME NATION.
If you were to tell me at the start of the MLB season that the Chicago White Sox, a team that lost over 100 games in 2025, was going to make the playoffs. If you were to add on that, Munetaka Murakami who missed over 30 games with a hamstring injury ended up with 35 HR. I and everyone else in the world would say, “Good luck donating your money.”
Both things came true, and not only did both things come true, but Munetaka Murakami is maybe everyone’s favorite player in the MLB after this viral clip.
Yet despite all this, the sheep of the Baseball world are all going to vote for Kevin McSingle to win AL ROY, and it is not even close. Yes, the same Kevin McSingle who hit .278 with 18 HR/72 RBI/97 Runs and 12 SB (0/5 SB after All-Star Break). Compare that to Mune with 35 HR/77 RBI/82 Runs, with over 150 less plate apperances. While Mune did strikeout a lot and hit .207, his on base percentage was over .340, and the saying always has been, a walk is as good as a hit.
Apparently chicks love the ball, and Sheep love WAR. That is why Murakami will not win the AL Rookie of the Year award. WAR is the most useless stat ever, it is supposed to take into account every little detail. However the details it does not account for is, actually winning. Murakami lead a 100 loss White Sox team to the Promised Land. McSingle was playing garbage time baseball with the Tigers who were eliminated basically when they traded away Skubal in July. We will see if the Sheep actually use their brain, and not just follow the script that they are supposed to vote for McSingle.
