BIG PACK. SMALLWOOD PART II (WEEK 6)

BEAST DOME NATION.

The time is ticking, the Regular season for the Fantasy Football Season before Playoffs is reaching its mid-way point. While everyone is jumping on the Waiver Wires to find their next big stud whether it is Shaun Alexander coming out of nowhere, or someone like D’Angelo Williams emerging from the flames a few years back.

2017 WENDELL SMALLWOOD WW

While many people are jumping at the Eagles RB situation with Clement or Smallwood, there is a lot to take into account before relaizing that the guy you are grabbing, is nothing more than a grab. First of all Darren Sproles is expected back at some point, when Sproles is healthy, Sproles is playing. Smallwood is looking a lot better than he has in the past, but he also has to compete with Corey Clement who finally gets his chance to shine as someone who can take over the lead RB role.

Do not forget how big of a Super Bowl game Clement had last year for the Eagles, and Clement will get his opportunity to show that he can be the primary RB for this team. No matter who the RB is between Smallwood/Clement/Sproles, when everyone is healthy they will all be splitting touches.

The biggest X-Factor that can make this HUGE Waiver Wire Claims just a “grab” is the fact the Eagles are trying to acquire LeSean McCoy. You know McCoy would love to return to Philly and do what he can to bring the Super Bowl back to the team that he helped build less than 5 years ago. If McCoy joins the Eagles, it will not be a RBBC, it will be the LeSean McCoy show.

While Smallwood and Clement can give you some nice upside RB2 potential value for a couple of weeks before Sproles return, in the long run.

WENDELL SMALLWOOD

COREY CLEMENT

BUST

Neither will play like anything more than a RB3 in two weeks, and none of them are trustworthy in 10 team leagues and hardly trustworthy in 12 team leagues.
