PUKA NACUA, IS A PASSING CRAZE (WEEK 3)

By Muntradamus

BEAST DOME NATION.

Puka Nacua. What a Wonderful Phrase.

PUKA NACUA. IS A PASSING CRAZE.

It means you’re a sheep. For the rest of your days.

You wasted a Waiver Wire Move. Or your Free Agent Budget.

On a guy you will drop in a few weeks.

Puka Nacua.

Usually the Sheep hype up a guy in Week 1, and by Week 3 he is forgotten. Last season it was Jaylen Warren (Read article here). This season it will be Puka Nacua who I wrote as my Waiver Wire Bust Last Week.

So far this season, Stafford has shown more trust in Puka Nacua than any superstar combo you can think of in the history of the game. Montana/Rice, Brady/Gronk, not even Gronk got this much love from Tom Brady. Puka Nacua goes out for a pass, Stafford is looking his way. Defenses are not really testing his speed, they are giving him those 5-7 yard routes with plenty of space. Almost surprised themselves that Puka is getting so many consistent targets.

While everything seems like a Fantasy for Puka Nacua and his Fantasy Owners as his name is above Justin Jefferson/Stefon Diggs/Tyreek Hill & every player in the NFL in receptions. (His Fantasy Owners did not start Puka Last Week against the Top 49ers D), Puka is about to hit reality.

Cooper Kupp will return eventually. If Puka Nacua has better Sundays than Kupp when both are healthy, there may be riots. The fact that the sentence above is even a slight reality, means you can trade Puka Nacua right now for a WR that was drafted to be an every-week starter on someone else’s Fantasy Football roster. Less than a few weeks ago!

Pair Puka up with a backup RB, or even an inconsistent WR on your roster for a WR you can depend on. Trade Puka now before it is too late. There is definitely some intermediate upside, but a long-term more than 50% if not close to 75% rest of the season of downside as a WR4 at best.
