FANTASY FOOTBALL COACHING MOVES (VIC FANGIO)

Part of getting the BEAST DOME Draft Package is you get a little summary of what each team will be looking to do with any new coaches. The Dolphins may have made the biggest splash of all the coaching moves by grabbing Vic Fangio.

COACHING MOVES BILL O’BRIEN

In case you are living under a bridge, the Chicago Bears were not too long ago (2018) one of the best defensive teams in the NFL. If they had a good kicker, they would have made a Super Bowl run with that unit. Vic Fangio parlayed his great job coaching the Bears Defense into becoming the Broncos Head Coach. That did not work out in the three years he was there, and it seemed like Vic was out of the game until the Eagles hired him right before the Super Bowl last season to help them beat the Chiefs. That obviously did not work out either.

Wanting to get back into the game, Vic and the Dolphins have agreed to a deal where Fangio can return to being the Defensive Coordinator he was born to be. The Dolphins have one of the most improving defenses over the last few seasons in the NFL, and they just added Jalen Ramsey who still has plenty of talent.

With a solid front 7 that can deny running games, which it has been with Big Daddy Wilkins and Jerome Baker. Dolphins also have easily one of the best combo secondaries in the NFL with Xavier Howard on the other side of Ramsey. Cannot forget Bradley Chubb, Vic’s big Draft Pick with the Broncos who has yet to pan out gets another opportunity. Opposing offenses are going to have a lot of trouble putting up any production. Vic is going to bring out the best in all of his players, and the Dolphins will have a successful season.

The AFC East is already a tough division, adding Vic Fangio to the Dolphins makes it that much tougher. While there are still plenty of moves to be made during Free Agency, including the possible Dalvin Cook joining the Dolphins. Miami is in a place to remain a winning city after both their NHL/NBA teams just made it to the championship.
