It is early. We have still not hit a preseason game, we have not even hit a breaking injury news or signing. What we have right now is little reports to pass the time until the action begins. Yesterday big news struck to remind us all how much the Fantasy Sheep were Sheep.

While Cord did impress me as a player, it was not until further along his career when his role was just to distrupt and not be a star. It was a main reason why I had Bijan Robinson as a BUST his Rookie Season.

BUST OF THE YEAR 2023 (BIJAN ROBINSON)

I always felt Cord was going to take away some plays, and he did. Bijan played more like a RB3 and he was drafted in the 1st Round his Rookie Year. Cannot forget his infamous 0 Point game that season when he did not even get a snap.

All in all. Cord Patterson had a special career, more of a special teams Hall of Famer. Patterson vultured Touch Downs and killed Fantasy Dreams, unless you had him as part of your Defense/Special Teams for the Kick returns.

Maybe another team will take the chance on him returning to his former role in Special teams, but the truth is he is not as fast as he once was. Cordarrelle Patterson is now more of a washed up Marshawn Lynch than any type of player, and that role is no longer needed in the NFL.
