BOSTON @ TEXAS
Mike Minor has been throwing nothing but fastballs over the middle of the plate. In HR Friendly Texas, look for Boston and their bats to make a living with the long bomb. JD Martinez is questionable, but Boston has plenty of big strokers who will launch.
David Price has been struggling a bit and is clearly not the pitcher he was before the arm injuries. Texas bats are not a huge threat, but the mistake pitch that Price has been throwing will not get past Joey Gallo, even on the lefty vs. lefty matchup. Price is hittable.
MINNESOTA @ WHITE SOX
Game could be rained out, but Raffy Lopez throwing 98 MPH seems to be the real deal. Twins bats are not the same without Sano, but they are a very deep team they are showing. Lots of guys can make things happen, life will not be easy for Raffy who despite the speed, still gives up hits and not as many Ks as you would expect.
Odorizzi had his best stuff last start, and he can continue the trend if weather holds up against the White Sox. Sox bats are beat up and they might not even have Moncanda. Look for the White Sox offense to struggle.
WHITE SOX 2
BALTIMORE @ ANGELS
Jamie Barria has nothing special, and the Orioles bats should definitely look forward to this matchup. While Manny Machado is the only one having a MVP season for Baltimore, Pedro Alvarez is as hot as anyone and the Orioles have plenty of support where they can get on the scoreboard quickly.
Chris Tillman pitching against an Angels team that can definitely make him pay if he starts throwing that HR pitch to them. Tillman is coming off of his best start, but on the road we can can quickly see one of his worst.
OAKLAND @ SEATTLE
Wade LeBlanc somehow continues to make his way into the Major League, and the A’s offense is maybe the best matchup he will have all year. Despite that, the A’s bats matchup very well against LeBlanc who can easily be giving up a lot of hits. A’s feeling great after the comeback win.
Sean Manea is an ACE and he goes up against a Mariners lineup that is not hitting out of this world. Getting Cano and Dee out is key, which he can do. Then silencing the stars like Cruz and BEAST JEAN Segura will make it another BEAST start for sean.
