DBACKS @ BRAVES

Both Gallen and Strider are pitching more sloppy than great as of late. The Braves bats have not hit well for a number of innings in a row, which helps Gallen. With that being said you cannot count out Strider despite the fact that he is very hittable right now. D-Backs bats are hot, and you cannot bet against the Braves. Avoid this game.

BREWERS @ PHILLIES

Corbin Burnes is the leader for CY Young since the All-Star Break, the Phillies bats are hitting it well, but not well enough to think they can really do much against Burnes. Of course anything is possible with the Phillies talent, the odds are not great. Taijuan Walker is pitching like a Win machine for the Phillies, and on paper the Phillies are a better team than the Brewers, but if the Brewers had five Corbin Burnes, they would be the best team in Baseball. Avoid taking this game.

GIANTS @ REDS

Reds bats can definitely hit Cobb well, the only problem is Cobb is pitching like his best self as of late. Reds bats can definitely do the damage, but there is no guarantee it happens, which makes it something I would not wager on. The Giants bats will likely have trouble with Andrew Abbot, but this is such a big game and there are hitters in the Giants lineup that can make an impact. I would not touch this game.

PADRES @ JAYS

Blake Snell is pitching very well, but this Jays offense can hit lefties at home with the best of them. Snell is no lock to throw a good game in this situation and seems like a situation to avoid on both sides as it would not be the biggest surprise for Snell to ever pitch well. Bassit is going for the Jays and he can matchup well against this Padres lineup. Not an easy start for Bassit by any means, but either side is a toss up on what you get. Avoid this game.

WHITE SOX @ METS

Koepch is not the same pitcher that was dominating over a month ago. His arm is toast and the White Sox are best just resting him, but they are not. Mets offense should be able to generate offense off of him. Their stars in Lindor/Alonso are not hot, but they got guys hitting. Jose Quintana takes the mound for the Mets and it seems like he has been pitching for a few lifetimes. Expect the White Sox bats to get to him, making this not a great start for Quintana. No Eloy Jimenez is big, but Robert and Burger can take him deep.

METS 6

TIGERS @ ROYALS

Greinke is back from the IL and he gets a start against a Tigers offense that is hitting. Not a good recipe as the Tigers are winning a lot of games as of late and it is definitely possible they carry that momentum into this matchup with the bats. Michael Lorenzen is pitching very well and there is little reason to believe he will not be able to continue that against the Royals are searching for offense.

TWINS @ MARINERS

Pablo Lopez does not have his best stuff right now, and this Mariners offense can hit. Suarez is on fire, and the magic can continue for him. Luckily for him Kelenic and J-Rod are not hitting with a lot of power but it is hard to trust Pablo after the As destroyed him.

George Kirby does not have his A+ pitches right now, and this Twins offense is on fire. Max Kepler is hitting everything and so is the front of that order. Kirby is going to have trouble pitching well throughout this game.

ORIOLES @ RAYS

Kyle Gibson goes through rough stretches often in his career, right now he is in the middle of one and this is not good timing against a dangerous Rays offense. Look for the run support to be there for Glasnow who is pitching very strong in his career right now. Orioles bats may have been hot against the Dodgers, but that can quickly change against one of the best pitchers in the American League.

CARDINALS @ CUBS

Matz is not pitching well and he faces a hot Cubs offense that is tearing the cover off baseballs as of late. Cubs hitters will be ready to pounce. While Stroman has been great all season and even in his last start, this Cardinals offense is hitting the ball very well right now and nothing is safe against the Cardinals offense. While Stroman is good enough to win, it will not come easy.

ASTROS @ ATHLETICS

J.P. France has not been pitching well, but this might be his best matchup he has seen in a while. The Athletics offense is pretty hot for the most part, at least confident after winning two in a row. Would not be surprised if the Athletics bats continued their momentum, would not be surprised if they just forgot how to hit.

Hulk Hogan Harris continues to get bombed every start, and the same will likely be true again for the Rookie as these Astros bats are going to be foaming out of the mouth to tee off on him. Astros bats have been good since the All-Star Break, they should continue the trend.
