It is that time of the year when we go over all the MLB players at each position that BEAST DOME ranked way higher than consensus that are now league winners. Sit back and relax, amazing how much time I used to put into this content back in the day, I do not have MLB the Show nor would I ever play it, MLB 2K was the last good days of baseball gaming. Since this is the last season of being Muntradamus and dedicating my life to this let us look back at some of the years.

CATCHER
BEN RICE 29 HR
Ben Rice will never qualify for catcher again after this season, and last season BEAST DOME was the only site to give him love and put him as a deep sleeper in the Draft Guide ranking him higher than every site. Ben Rice is the truth, and although he was already ranked high by everyone else, the Top 5 catchers in Fantasy Baseball coming into the draft are basically the Top 5 now, minus Cal Raleigh.

CHRISTIAN WALKER

Usually when you get to the #20 1B position, you are hoping for some production. Well with Christian Walker, you already have 20 HR and 58 RBI. Putting him on pace for an easy 35+ HR and 100+ RBI, which are numbers the #1 Sheep 1B in Vlad Guerrero Jr. will not touch at all, BEAST DOME ranked Vlad Jr. lower than any site who has been historically awful and was the BEAST DOME BUST OF THE YEAR.

OZZIE ALBIES

Ozzie hit 33 bombs with 100+ RBI in 2023, everyone seemed to forget that and put him as a low-end 2B option. He slipped in drafts and is now on pace to come close to those numbers again with 14 HR and 51 RBI in the 1st Half of the season.

Muncy hit 36 HR in 2023, then he struggled to reach 20 HR in 2024 and 2025, but he did get glasses in 2025 and showed flashes that he can see the ball again. This season Muncy has 17 HR at the All-Star break and looks ready to join the 30 HR club again with ease.

Everyone was afraid of Volpe coming back and stealing PT from Cab. The only problem is Volpe sucks at defense and he cannot hit. I had Cab as a late sleeper and he has 10 HRs and 22 SB, putting him on pace for a historic season for the utility star who qualifies everywhere. Good BEAST DOME Draft Strategy sleeper and always finding a place to play to keep him relevant.

This is the difference on winning your league, and losing your league. All the Outfielders I ranked higher than the ECR are dominating the game when they are on the field. The Outfielders I ranked worst than the ECR are having awful seasons to their standards. This alone is the BEAST DOME difference.

Both pitchers started the season injured, both pitchers are pitching well enough to be starters in the MLB All-Star game. Ok, maybe just Zach Wheeler who has been untouchable. Rodon has been great but may miss another month of the season, but those 17 starts have been SP2 quality, not bad for getting someone at the end of your draft.

Even though Fairbanks had the closer job for the Marlins, I did not want you to waste a pick on the closer. While the Marlins are winning, it is no thanks to Fairbanks and his 6+ ERA with only 13 saves. Fairbanks has been awful.
