Fantasy Baseball AL PLAYOFF PREDICTIONS

By Muntradamus

BEAST DOME NATION.

With NBA Playoffs, with NFL season. Baseball has become a forgotten sport in a world where we feared we would not have any of them. While MLB gets no respect in the Big three, we will give them the respect they deserve and predict the AL Playoffs.

TB vs. TOR

Blue Jays in Game 1 have to beat Snell if they want to win this series. Game 2 is very winnable with Ryu on the mound, but Shoemaker can put Toronto in an early hole. Tampa most likely winner of the series as Toronto pitching does not have enough to matchup. Charlie Morton Game 3 is going to BEAST.

CLE vs. NYY

Yankees pitching is not that great after Cole, and a tough matchup against Bieber can spoil the only chance the Yankees have of getting a win. If Yankees lose game 1, the series is likely over. In that case whichever team wins game 1 is the likely winner as Game 3 I would give a slight edge to Cleveland, and I do not see Tanaka closing them out if they have the opportunity.

MIN vs. HOU

Astros seem to be a beatable team with no trash can signals. Minnesota has the hitting and the pitching to knock Houston out of this series quickly. Twins advance. Astros pitching is not what it once was, Greinke is over the hill.

OAK vs. CWS

White Sox have all the fire power in the world. Deep pitching staff is their problem, but in a 3 game series the White Sox can pull off the sweep. White Sox Advance. A’s have to hope for a miracle pitching performance from Luzardo to stay in it.

TB vs. CLE

Bieber will likely dominate game 1, from there it gets a bit unpredictable and the advantage goes to Tampa because they have the better pitching staff. However Cleveland has the better hitters, and the big hits will lead to the momentum to win the series. Cleveland takes it.

MIN vs. CWS

These teams matchup very well, however Dallas Kuechel against the Twins bats could be an automatic loss. The Twins rotation is better backend as well, which means if Giolito losses game 1, this series could get out of hand quick. Twins Advance.

CLE vs. MIN

Great series, both teams do a good job of eliminating each other’s strengths. Cleveland pitchers matchup well against the righty twins. Kepler will have to be the deal-breaker for Minnesota. Indians could have a tough time with that backend of rotation. I can see Rich Hill and Pineda throwing great performances. Twins bats have to win the back-end matchups against Civale, and they can do it.
