Print it and keep it as a guide next to you on Draft Day as if I was right their with you. Cross off names, stick to the strategy. BEAST YOUR LEAGUE.\nULTIMATE STRATEGY\nRound 1. Gary Sanchez\n\nRound 2. Carlos Correa\/Josh Donaldson\n\nRound 3. Noah Syndeergard\/Josh Donaldson\/Starling Marte\n\nRound 4. Starling Marte\/Billy Hamilton if ROTO League\n\nRound 5. Jake Arrieta\n\nRound 6. Trevory Story (IF you miss Carlos Correa)\/SP\n\nRound 7. Joey Gallo (IF you miss Donaldson)\/Gregory Polanco\n\nRound 8. Gregory Polanco\/Adam Jones\n\nRound 9. Adam Jones\/SP\n\nRound 10. SP\n\nRound 11. RP\n\nRound 12. RP\n\nRound 13. Villar\n\nRound 14. Chris Davis\n\nRound 15. Hanley\n\nRound 16 to end of draft\n\nMore SPs filling your bench so you can interchange and go as many two start starters at a time Rankings below. Shane Greene + Alex Claudio if big bench, get one or both depending how valueable closers are. Mark Trumbo if DL spot (Colby Rasmus good guy to put in your lineup when you move Trumbo to DL). Neil Walker + Brandon Drury good targets at backup 2B. Jose Peraza good backup speed guy, Robinson Chirinos Top 10 Catcher.\n\n \nMUNTRADAMUS vs. THE SHEEP\nARROWS INDICATE MY RANK vs. THE EXPERT RANK\nCATCHER\n\nMUNTRADAMUS CATCHER STRATEGY\nThe catcher strategy remains the same. Go after Gary Sanchez in Round 1, I still believe he is the #1 Overall Pick as we get closer to opening day. I definitely would not go Trout, while his talent his ELITE the OF position is very deep. I would at first go Altuve, but have decided against it after you see all the Sleeper options at 2B. While Altuve is a superstar at 2B. There is more power from players like Schoop, and there is more speed from players like Dee Gordon that go a few rounds later. If you want to grab your 2B option early, I would wait later than that.\n\nThe difference between Gary Sanchez and all the rest of the cathers is not even comparable. Gary Sanchez is not only the only catcher who can hit 30 HRs this season, but he can hit 40. He will lead all catchers in HRs\/RBIs\/Runs while hitting a decent average. If you are in leagues that require two catchers, then Robinson Chirinos is fine to wait on. Chirinos can easily hit 20+ as a full time go in Texas. Do not look past Matt Wieters who will not even be drafted in all leagues. Yes Matt and his should problems are problems to be concerened with. However he is healthy this season, he is crushing it this Spring hitting over .350+ with a HR.\nMoral of the story. GRAB GARY SANCHEZ with your 1st Round Pick no matter what!!\n\n\n1B\n\nMUNTRADAMUS 1B STRATEGY\nStrategy at 1B is to wait. I would wait past Gallo and target Gallo at 3B more than I would target him at 1B. Joey Gallo is the MUST-Target if you do not get Josh Donaldson in Round 2. The only reason you will likely not get Donaldson in Round 2, is if Carlos Correa somehow sneaks by. Regardless, wait past Gallo and read below.\n\nChris Davis will go very late and can start the season on the DL, which means he will not even be drafted in some leagues. This is a guy that can still lead the MLB in HRs. With drafting Chris Davis, you must also end up with Hanley Ramirez, who will also maybe not get drafted. Hanley is healthy after off-season shoulder surgery. Hanley has been telling reporters all spring he wants to hit 30 HRs and record 30 SBs. He added he can steal 40. Hanley will be playing 1B everyday for the Red Sox and there is no doubt he can be a monster. That lineup is stacked and even with a horrible shoulder missing nearly 50 Games. Hanley still hit 23 HRs. Hanley will be a BEAST, Chris Davis will be a BEAST.\n\nWait at 1B.\n2B\n\nMUNTRADAMUS 2B STRATEGY\n \n\nStrategy at 2B is to wait as well. You can grab Odor if he slips a bit, but you can also wait and end up with Villar and Kinsler. Grabbing those two 2B as a combo will have you covered if anything happens to the other. The situation that we should all be watching is for the Yankees. If Neil Walker becomes the everyday 2B option, he can easily hit 25+ HRs being a lefty in that ball park. Let us see how he does this Spring and when the Yankees make it official. Brandon Drury may also play everyday 3B for the Yankees, owning both of those guys wil lead to a lot of big fantasy days in the Runs\/RBIs, and 20+ HR potential for both.\n\nNo need to draft 2B early. Plenty of talent. If you run into trouble at OF, you can grab Villar there as well. Then end up with Neil Walker as your 2B option if everything goes haywire.\n3B\n\nMUNTRADAMUS 3B STRATEGY\n \n\nJosh Donaldson in Round 2 is not a bad option. The guy can hit 40+ HRs with ease and well over 120+ RBIs while helping your batting average. Donaldson is a stud who is ready to return to MVP form, playing in the AL East guarantees he will be in HR ball parks all season. A guy that good, that is too dangerous.\n\nIf you miss Donaldson, target Joey Gallo around Round 7-9. If you miss Gallo, target Shaw\/Sano. If you miss those guys as well, Evan Longoria\/Eugenio Suarez\/Makiel Franco\/Todd Frazier can each hit 25+ HRs and give you good numbers. Those guys will not even be drafted in leagues that require 1 3B option.\nSS\n\nMUNTRADAMUS SS STRATEGY\n \n\nSS is a position you have to be cautious about. I would like to get Carlos Correa in Round 2 over Donaldson if that is possible. If that is not possible, you must draft Trevor Story or Didi. You can look to get any one of those guys before you target Gallo. It is critical you get one of those guys, and I would say if you miss them, you have to get someone in the Top 9.\n\nIf you do happen to miss the top 9, you can wait on Jose Peraza if you need speed, Tim Beckham if you want runs and some power, or Orlando Arcia who is the real, but he bats 8th.\nOF\n \n\n\nMUNTRADAMUS OF STRATEGY\n\n\nStarling Marte in Round 4 is the goal. If you miss Marte, and it is a roto league, go with Billy Hamilton. If not a roto league, grab a big bat like YoYo, best one on the board. Make sure to grab Gregory Polanco around Round 7-8, after you draft Gallo.\n\nIf you are in a 3 OF league, you can either get Villar in Round 15. Or you can see if a player like Adam Jones sneaks through the cracks, or grab Jay Bruce or Conforto. Players like Odubel Herrera will be around late, Mark Trumbo will be very late if you have a DL spot throw him on it. Then you can get Colby Rasmus in the last round of your draft. Someone like Carlos Gonzalez will very late as well.\n\nIf Clint Frazier continues to suffer from his concussion, which apparently is really bothering him to the fact he cannot remember his cat names and cannot drive. As well as Jacoby Ellsbury being injured, watch out for Aaron Hicks & Brett Gardner to crawl inside the top 60 as everyday players. Two guys who are great late options.\n\nSP\n \nMUNTRADAMUS SP STRATEGY\nNoah Syndeergard Round 3. If you miss Noah, grab Marte in Round 3, or Donaldson in Round 3 if it so happened to work that way. Hope that Strasburg or Carrasco come back to you in Round 4. If they do not, do not worry about it. Starting pitching is deeper than ever.\n\nIf you miss all three of those pitchers. Grab Arrieta in Round 4. Grab Story in Round 5. Grab Gallo in Round 6. Then come back to pitching. This way you secuered your position players and now you can load up on arms. Key to remember is watching out for Adam Jones and seeing how many good starters are left when his name is on the board.\nEvery Start Starters. Follow Rankings, players below to draft are Targets.\n\nJON LESTER\n\nRICH HILL\n\nSONNY GRAY\n\nDANNY DUFFY\n\nCOLE HAMELS\n\nALEX WOOD\n\n\nThen I would look out for Adam Jones.\nBackup pitchers\/pitchers you can start when the matchup is good.\n\nTANNER ROARK\n\nJAMESON TAILLON\n\nGARRETT RICHARDS\n\nTIJUAN WALKER\n\nTYLER CHATWOOD\n\nDYLAN BUNDY\n\nMICHEAL WACHA\n\nJIMMY NELSON\n\nERVIN SANTANA\n\nRYU\n\nJASON VARGAS\n\nIVAN NOVA\n\nMIKE MINOR\n\nVINCENT VELASQUEZ\n\nAll players in Green ETC.\n\nIf you are in leagues that play two 2B options, two 3B options etc. Then go ahead and get Didi in Round 6, Gallo in Round 7 then attack pitching from above. Ton more pitchers I would print this out and cross it off on Draft Day.\nRP\n \nMUNTRADAMUS RP STRATEGY\n \n\nKelvin Herrera\/Jeryus Familia. Those are you two guys, with Shane Greene and Alexander Claudio as main backup targets. Stick to the Rankings above, start to target Herrera and Familia once you fill out with your starting Pitchers. Be aware of Villar in Round 13. Be aware of Chris Davis Round 15. Be aware of Hanley Round 16. Which sounds like Round 11. Round 12. Is the time to get those closers. It would be ideal to draft them back-2-back so you do not have to worry about losing them.\n\nKeep in mind. Shane Greene should be create at closer. Alexander Claudio is eletric and having a perfect Spring. He is in a great positon on good Texas Team.
