Zach Wheeler could make a surprise run at the CY Young the way he has been pitching this year. The Marlins are a tricky team because everyone knows the Marlins are not good, but this year they have a bunch of guys who are just doing their jobs and finding themselves in a thick of the playoff race for the last two months, however losing 12 straight is killing that chance. The Phillies are a hot team and a confident team just beating the Yankees on Sunday Night Baseball. Phillips is going to have trouble getting through the heart of that Phillies order, Wheeler will mow down the Marlins for a 13th straight loss.

CJ ABRAMAS OVER 1.5 H+R+R

CJ got this party started with a HR everyday from someone in this category on the day the Triple Play was published. Since then, he has continued to rip the ball all over the field. Max Scherzer is over the hill, Abrams is reaching his prime and low key could be considered a MVP candidate. Maybe not this season, but he is outperforming Soto who was exchanged for Abrams in the big MLB trade, James Wood as well.

JARREN DURAN OVER 1.5 H+R+R

Duran has been not good at all these days, hitting only .198. However he may have just found his swing this weekend going 5-11 against the Blue Jays. He has a favorable matchup in Sacramento, he should continue his momentum against Perkins and whatever relievers come his way.

Wheeler is getting K’s with ease, the trend should continue he is basically unhittable these days.

PAYTON TOLLE OVER 17.5 OUTS

The game is in Sacramento, which has me a little worried. However this Athletics team is pretty much down to minor leaguers with Kurtz/Soderstorm/Wilson as the only true threats. Tolle is good, the A’s bats are not familar with the rookie.
