BEAST DOME NATION.

Earlier this week we did 5 players that will BUST your Fantasy Football Draft, and everyone was complaining to me that I focused on too many Rookies that will be awful, so let us focus on star key players this time around. This is also your LAST chance to get the BEAST DOME Draft Guide. The season is coming up, the Draft Strategy is flawless once again. Do not hesitate. E-Mail me [email protected]. The Testimonials speak for themselves.

JAXON SMITH-NJIGBA (JSN)

Teenage Mutant Njigba Turtles is a very overrated Fantasy Football player heading into 2025. The truth and nothing but the truth is, DK Metcalf was the star WR on the Seahawks who demanded the defenses attention in 2024. If DK Metcalf did not have saftey help, Geno Smith would throw it his way. Defenses eventually adapted taking DK out of the game plan, which left JSN with plenty of green grass to roam when he caught his little short passes. JSN would take a 3 yard quick pass and turn it into a first down more often than not. Defenses were fine surrendering the outcome as the Seahawks were not even a Playoff team last season.

Now it is a new year and the Seahawks are very different. DK Metcalf is gone, Geno Smith is gone, and in comes Sam Darnold who really looked good because he was throwing to Justin Jefferson a season ago. JSN is not even close to the same type of WR as Justin Jefferson. Jefferson can take the top off of a defense and completely open up the field, JSN is basically a bigger Jayden Reed. Sam Darnold also had Jordan Addison, another player that respects coverage down the field, the Seahawks do not have that type of WR unless we want to consider Marquez Valdez-Scantling as a player who still has the ability to do that. For the record we are not considering that. *Updated MVS is now on the 49ers, Tony Horton Jr. is now the deep guy and defenses would love it if Darnold took his chances with the Rookie often.

Sam Darnold has two WR’s who would prefer to run routes near the line of scrimmage, make a quick catch, then run. With defenses no longer having to protect the deep bomb against the Seahawks, defenses are going to play closer to the line of scrimmage which will give JSN less green grass to roam around. When you consider that Sam Darnold is not even that great of a QB and was almost out of the NFL a few seasons ago, you have to question what the Seahawks are thinking with this WR rotation that is so one dimensional.

End of the day, the Seahawks want to be a running Football team. They will throw if they need to throw, but they would love to see Kenneth Walker and Zach Charbonnet control Football games while making Sam Darnold nothing more than a game manager. When you add in the Seahawks Head Coach Mike Macdonald used to be the Defensive Coordinator for the Ravens, a team that would rely on their defense to win games and play tough grind nose Football, you have to see the Seahawks leaning in that direction as well. When teams play that type of Football, their offense does not score that many TDs.

The very last and most important factor for why Jaxon Smith-Njigba is going to be a BUST this season is; he has never played with Sam Darnold before. We do not know if Darnold likes JSN as his WR1, Darnold could end up liking Cooper Kupp more and that would hardly be a surprise. Let us not forget before Puka came to the Rams, Cooper Kupp and Justin Jefferson would be in the same sentence.
