FANTASY FOOTBALL TYLER WARREN – A Deep Dive into Tyler Warren Fantasy Football

The Colts had a lot of problems in 2024. They decided to spend the #14 pick not really addressing them by selecting Tyler Warren.

When I look at Warren, I see kind of Kyle Juszczyk, I see kind of Dallas Clark, and if I want to be generous a tiny bit of Jeremy Shockey. All those names are great, but I do not know how much is stands out in a crowded TE room the Colts already have. Mo Allie Cox/Jelani Woods/Ogletree is not really a great TE room, but they all kind of got the job done enough to the point where someone would step up each week. Sure you can play Tyler Warren more snaps than those guys, but I do not see him being the game changer this offense needs. If anything, I see Tyler eating up all the stat those guys would usually combine for.

The Colts offense could use another weapon to step up, and that opportunity is there, but Warren will not be passing guys like Pittman or Downs as far as targets go. If anything, he eats up enough to the point where it really hurts Downs value and Pittman gets a slight downgrade as well. The Colts are a team finding their identity so everything is up for grabs. We could even see Daniel Jones start some games at QB for the Colts.

BUST

Consistency is likely something you will not see from Tyler Warren as a rookie. The other TEs on the roster are capable of making good plays and it will be hard to keep them all off the field the entire season. Lots of 2 TE formations, and Warren could even miss some plays. TE2 realm is a reality, TE1 is a Fantasy in 2025. Warren could be the future for the Colts, but for now they have the vets ready to go so it can be an easy transition into being force fed the keys to the castle all at once.
