The course in North Carolina, and has Bermuda grass on the putting greens. There are some players that excel there. It is not a very long course and players that thrive with their irons and putter will do well. Here are my six golfers that fit the FanDuel salary cap for the weekend. Last weekend 4/6 golfers I predicted made the cut, which does not make the cut in my eyes.
Ben Griffin
Griffin is a great Bermudagrass player. Ranked second in the field on Bermuda greens and 16th in SG/putting, he has a serious edge.
Jackson Koivun
This North Carolina native is playing on home turf this week. Lat year he tied for 5th place in this tournament.
Davis Thompson
He has been in the top 10 in his last 2 tournaments. The last 3 times in this tournament, he finished in the top 25.
Sungjae Im
Sungjae Im finally showed some signs with his irons last week enroute to a 15th-place finish at the Rocket Classic. Now he returns to a golf course where he has recorded five top 25 finishes in seven starts and should highlight his accuracy off the tee and expertise on Bermuda greens.
JT Poston
The North Carolina native earned his first PGA Tour victory at the 2019 Wyndham Championship, shooting rounds of 65, 65, 66 and 62 to finish 22-under without making a bogey during the tournament. He also returned to finish tied for 11th in 2025, recording four rounds of 68 or better.
Nico Echavarria
He usually excels playing on Bermuda grass greens, easier scoring conditions, and a weaker-than-average field. This is the recipe for a good week.
