It has been a lifetime since I wrote a Golf article, but when DraftKings drops a Free Ticket to win $1 Million, I will do my research. The Open Championship is going to be played at the Old Course in Scottland. The last time the Open was played there was in 2014, and in 2014 Rory McIlroy won the tournament. Right now the hottest golfer in the world is Rory, and there is no time like the present to remind the Golf greats of his legendary status.

There was a time when Rory was called out to be the next Tiger Woods, it seems after that prediction, Rory’s career took a bit of a nose dive as he was never seen near the leaderboard. The potential for great rounds was always there, but Rory was rarely part of the final grouping. Now Rory is Hot, and he returns to a place where he has dominated before. It is not often you get this combination of events, which makes Rory a great pick for this tournament.
