FANTASY FOOTBALL WILD CARD

MIAMI DOLPHINS

By Muntradamus

BEAST DOME NATION.

The Dolphins were a team many would consider Super Bowl favorites back in November. Since then, this team has been riding downhill faster than Tyreek Hill’s speed. What is the reason for this downfall? Is it coaching? Is it injuries?

I have been watching the Dolphins Hard Knocks in-season episodes since they came out. I was not the biggest fan of McDaniel going into this show, and after watching it, I am still not a fan. While I will say he has a great offensive mind, the way the Dolphins run their running plays out of shotgun is revolutionary, and every team should do it that way. Fake pitch to the left then pitch it to the right making everyone think someone missed an assignment but it is all planned that way.

However everytime the Dolphins lose a crucial game, which seems to be every week when watching these episodes, besides the two times they faced the Jets. McDaniel gives his speech to rally the troops and get them motivated to forget their loss, but his words are not very powerful. They are more or less, let us turn a negative into a positive, and sounds like it is coming from a High School Football coach, and not a man. Now I am not knocking his size, his swag, everything he has done, but I am knocking how he really does not punish or get angry at them for losing and is more or less, let us get the next one, we are still buddies. He is a player’s coach, but sometimes that can backfire and the team gets too comfortable and there is no accountability.

Well the next one is now against the Kansas City Chiefs in Arrowhead, and everyone in the world knows, the Chiefs are not going to lose this game. Tua is being exposed for being an average QB who would be nothing without Tyreek Hill. The Dolphins are expected to have Raheem the Dream, and Waddle back in their lineup. However now they are playing in freezing temperatures. The Chiefs can stop the run, and Tua is not really a cold weather QB being from Hawaii and then playing in Miami. This will be a big test for the Dolphins, but the Dolphins have not succeeded in any test over the past month plus, why will the pass this one?

The simple answer is, they will not. The Dolphins LB core is backup scrubs, Pacheco is playing like an MVP (BEAST DOME ranked Higher than average site) and Mahomes during the playoffs is never a QB you want to face, especially in Arrowhead.
