FANTASY FOOTBALL WAIVER WIRE WEEK 1 Malcolm in the Middle

FANTASY FOOTBALL WAIVER WIRE WEEK 1

MALCOM IN THE MIDDLE (MALCOM BROWN)

By Muntradamus

BEAST DOME NATION.

Week 1 is almost in the Books and I am sure another BEAST DOME star is going to emerge as a Must-Grab off the Waiver Wire after Monday Night Football. Until then, we will put our attention on the star of Sunday Night Football. No not Zeke Elliot, no not Dak Prescott. The attention goes to the “2nd string RB” in Malcolm Brown.

Malcolm Brown is in the middle of a three headed monster in LA. Many predicted Cam Akers, some had some love for Darrell Henderson. I was on the Malcolm Brown train.

MALCOM BROWN PRESEASON RANK

(FANTASYPROS)

That is correct, no Fantasy Football website ranked Malcolm Brown higher than BEAST DOME. On the Flip side of things.

CAM AKERS PRESEASON RANK

(FANTASYPROS)

*ONLY ONE SITE RANKED CAM AKERS WORST THAN BEAST DOME*

The question is. Can you trust Malcolm Brown every week to be your RB2 or Flex? The quick answer is definitely not.

The Rams are set on going with a hot hand approach. After watching Cam Akers last night, I see potential in his game. He looks good, not amazing, and has a fine skill of falling forward despite being a shifty RB. Malcolm Brown is nothing more than a solid veteran who makes all the right plays. The upside is in Cam Akers, however as long as the Rams are winning Malcolm Brown will be a heavy fixture of this offense ruining the value of both players.

As for Darrell Henderson?? Those who are part of the BEAST DOME NATION from 2019 know exactly how much I threw that guy under the bus after everyone fell in love with him. Now “Hendy” is nothing more than a 3rd String RB who will get a carry here or there, but no longer part of a Fantasy Football imagination.

You can add Malcolm Brown in all leagues, but he is not going to be a dependable RB2. He will have more value in the early stages of the season than the later stages, and if it was not for Cam Akers failing on an early goal line run which led to Malcolm Brown’s first TD. Things would be heading in a different direction for the Rams backfield.
