FANTASY FOOTBALL WAIVER WIRE BEAST OR BUST
RHAMONDRE STEVENSON (WEEK 11)
BEAST DOME NATION.
It is last Saturday Night and it is looking likely Stevenson will be able to go, and Damien Harris will not. You have to remember Brandon Bolden will play in passing situation, but Stevenson looks to be the starter which kept Stevenson on most Waiver Wires (over 60%) heading into Sunday. Week 10 we saw Stevenson get gifted two TDs thanks to Bolden doing the heavy lifting on one drive, and the Patriots defense creating a turnover setting up an easy first and goal when the game already felt over. Add in the blowout one sided game, Stevenson dominated! Three hours into Sunday Football, Stevenson becomes the must-add player of Week 11 coming off of 100+ Rushing yards and 2 TDs.
It is easy to forget Damien Harris may be the most dominant RB in the NFL today next to Derrick Henry, if we are going on a per carry basis. Not just on numbers, there have been games where Harris will have less than 10 carries before half time and already is approaching 100 yards. People forgot quickly how good Harris is as Stevenson who carried over his dominant preseason into a majority of the season, before really shining in Week 10 became the Waiver Wire star of the week on nearly every site.
Damien Harris is on the verge of returning and may be able to pass concussion protocol before going up against an underrated Falcons Run Defense on Thursday Night Football. The moment that happens, Stevenson goes back to being a guy who will get his garbage time work when the Patriots blow teams out, and his few touches that he has to share with Brandon Bolden when the games are close. When the game is close, Damien Harris is the RB for the Patriots.
*Not because of talent, because of his roster position*
*IF Harris misses TNF, Stevenson can have another shining moment*
