FANTASY FOOTBALL TRADE MARKET WEEK (4)

EDGAR ALLEN BUST: THE LAST CHAPTER (For Now)

By Muntradamus

BEAST DOME NATION.

As we approach/wrap up the 25% marker of the Fantasy Football Season, it is clear that Lamar Jackson is an MVP candidate. In the process of Jackson being an MVP candidate, Mark Andrews is emerging as Travis Kelce 2.0. After this matchup against the Bills, which is not even a tough matchup with all the injuries in their secondary and D-Line, the schedule is downhill sledding for Lamar Jackson and company.

Lamar continues to make a mockery of opposing defenses, some of the best in the NFL. Dobbins is now healthy and he looks good as well, making this Ravens offense one that looks semi-easy to stop on paper, but then players like Duvernay turn into Jerry Rice in the red zone, always finding himself open along the back line, and Bateman catches Homerun passes like he is prime Desean Jackson.

Is this a Sell High article on Andrews? If you can get Kelce I would make the switch.

Is this a Sell High article on Lamar? If you can figure out a way to turn him into Josh Allen I would make the switch.

Is this an article where I just admit I was wrong on Lamar and the Ravens? In a way yes. Fantasy Football is a marathon, not a sprint. While Lamar Jackson has sprinted way past my expectations and should continue his current trajectory of dominating the NFL, Fantasy Football is a marathon.

This is the last Chapter of Edgar Allen Bust, for now. Next time we will check on the Story of the Raven, is at the end of October when the Ravens play the Bucs on Thursday Night Football. Until then, Lamar Jackson should play like a QB1, a Top 5 QB, and Andrews should play as the TE1 in Fantasy Football.

As for the Ravens this week. If the rain is not a factor, we should continue to see MVP Lamar. A sentence I did not think I would be writing in 2022.
