FANTASY FOOTBALL THURSDAY NIGHT LIGHTS

GRUBB CHUBB WEEK 3

By Muntradamus

BEAST DOME NATION.

Heavy winds expected against the Browns and Steelers. Two teams that are learning quickly that their defense is going to be the only thing that can keep both teams together.

The Steelers defense this season has been masterful. Even though they are 1-1, the Steelers D is tough to do much against. What I have seen though on tape, vs. what the Browns offense can do on tape. We can expect a ton of Nick Chubb and Kareem Hunt. The question is, who is going to win that battle. The Steelers Run D, or the Browns rushing attack. Without Watt, this Steelers D-Line is a bit more vulnerable, more important this Browns O-Line can push. Expect the Browns offense to scorch right through the Steelers Front 7 as Chubb and Hunt are running like players possessed.

With heavy winds, it is hard to imagine Jacoby will be taking too many shots down the field. Jacoby is good at managing clock and moving the chains. While Amari Cooper broke out against the Jets, the Steelers defensive schemes have been creating QB throwing INTs left and right. DPJ is likely completely out of the gameplan, so it will be the TEs and Cooper who will be getting the targets, when it is not Hunt.

Browns offense will be boring, it will be hard-nosed Football, it will be a game where if you did not have money on the line or players on your fantasy squad, you would probably channel surf.

The Steelers are in a bit of disarray to start the season. Najee Harris has yet to breakout, though he is definitely the focal point of this offense. Dionate Johnson shows he can make plays, but has not had enough opportunities to do so. Claypool looks like he would be great with Tom Brady, and Pickens has yet to get a lot of targets. Friermuth, no not your made up local beer company, the TE for the Steelers has been maybe the go-to go out of all those targets. Trubisky is going to have to figure out how to beat this weather and get the ball deep on the Browns, otherwise the pass rush is going to force Trubisky to throw quick. The Steelers O-Line is going to be eaten by the Browns D-Line making this a game where Najee Harris will be running into a brick wall more often than not. Clowney healthy would make it bulletproof.

Season’s most boring game. Pending that the wind is really going to be blowing 20 mph*
