FANTASY FOOTBALL THURSDAY NIGHT LIGHTS

CRY ME A RIVERS (WEEK 10)

BEAST DOME NATION.

The Chargers and Raiders square up for another potential boring Thursday Night Football game. When you look at both of these teams records (4-4) Raiders, (4-5) Chargers, you would think this game is going to be a close one. However one team does not matchup well with the other.

The Oakland Raiders have one goal in this game, run the ball with Josh Jacobs as many times as possible. The Raiders love to play pound the football, pound the clock. Truth is their passing game does not have a lot to look forward to in the WR Department. With Tyrell Williams likely locked down by Heyward, though I doubt he trails him, the Raiders will look to Waller. However Carr has been getting so many players involved, would not be out of this world to even see one of the other TEs end up with a TD, and now Renfroe starting to get more involved. While all of this sounds great for the Raiders, they are going up against a hot and very strong Chargers Defense. Chargers D should be able to limit the running game, and the pass rush could finally be a challenge for this Raiders O-Line that has been giving Carr all day and night to throw.

The Chargers still have Super Bowl hopes, and it all comes down to winning this game. The Raiders secondary is garbage, straight trash. They cannot cover an entire field and teams have been picking them apart for what feels like five years now. Look for Rivers to have his way moving the ball down the field, and when the passing game is on point, the running game becomes a piece of cake. Look for Melvin Gordon and Austin Ekeler to get a lot of touches in this one. In the end, the Chargers are going to move the ball so easily it will be laughable.
