DAK TO THE FUTURE?

BEAST DOME NATION.

WE DEM BOYZ. You probably have heard at least one Cowboys fan shout that in your ear in your lifetime. You pretend to agree because you don’t want to deal with the wrong Cowboys fan, but in your heart, you chuckle to yourself. You know that no matter how good the Cowboys are during the regular season, they find a way to choke in the postseason. Is this year going to be different?

Losing Zeke is a bigger loss than the Cowboys want to admit. Sure, Rico Dowdle looks like he could be a starting RB in this league at some point, but Pollard is not looking great as a superstar lead RB. Yes, Pollard will have his moments, but he is not dominating the game like he was last season. When he is not clicking, it puts it all on Dak and the passing game.

So far this season, Dak is showing that he still deserves to be talked about like a Pro-Bowl QB. The problem with Dak however, has been road games. Dak’s last three road games, 6 TD and 0 INT, so it appears maybe that myth is done because one of those games was on the road in Philly.

We will see how Dak performs on the road in December to get our real answer if the Cowboys are a threat to win it all, but in Week 13, he does not have to deal with the road. He gets a primetime TV game against a Seahawks Defense that has definitely seen better days in their secondary. Dak should control the game, and Geno Smith’s story as the Seahawks QB goes in the wrong direction once again for Seattle. Could it be the Seahawks go for Tim Boyle as their starting QB next season?
