FANTASY FOOTBALL THURSDAY NIGHT BEAST
NEW YORK SAN FRANCISCO GIANTS (WEEK 3)
BEAST DOME NATION.
The SF baseball Giants used to be the NY Giants before they moved to SF. Now NY has a Football team, named the Giants. Chris Berman used to call them, ‘The New York Football Giants’ on Primetime. Best highlight show of all-time. Now the NY Football Giants come to SF to make a statement and teach the city a thing or two about legacy. Moving forward in this article we are only talking about the NY Football Giants.
The Giants were a team for the first 6 quarters of this NFL season, considered a team nobody should worry about. After coming back from a 20-0 deficit in the second half last week to beat the worst team in the NFL, Cardinals 31-28, there is life again for New York.
The problem with beating the Cardinals last week for the Giants, it cost them their star player in Saquon Barkley. We do not know how long Quon will be out, but it will insert Matt Brieda to run up against his old team. Before anyone can get too excited about the revenge game for Brieda, the Giants O-Line is banged up and the 49ers have arguably the best front seven in the NFL when it comes to stopping the run. Which means Danny Dimes is going to have to pull all his tricks out of the bag to save the Giants this week. 49ers secondary looked worst than expected last week, we will see if Daniel Jones is able to capitalize the same way the Rams were able to.
For the 49ers, CMC is short for, most dominant RB in Fantasy Football. CMC is going to run all over a Giants Defense that was supposed to be good against the run, but really is not showing that. CMC is dangerous and can burst off long carries at any point, while the Giants have to figure out how to contain the run for the first time all year. If the Giants let CMC get going, that will open up things for Brock who needs Aiyuk to be dangerous and stretch the field. With Aiyuk safeties have to play back, without him, they will be ready for Samuel and Kittle over the middle. Let us assume Brandon plays at the time of this article being published.
