FANTASY FOOTBALL THURSDAY NIGHT BEAST

IS THE NFL RIGGED? (WEEK 6)

By Muntradamus

BEAST DOME NATION.

Whenever I hear anyone try to justify how the NFL is rigged, to me that is an excuse that they come up with if they cannot win. However this year, there always seems to be controversy surrounding the Chiefs. The last two games the Chiefs played, they had a controversial penalty or no penalty called against the other team which ensured the victory. Most notable controversial, but in reality the smart way to play the game, was Sunday Night Week 4, with the Chiefs up by 2, and the spread -8, Mahomes deciding to take a knee at the 1 yard line instead of walking in the end zone with a blindfold.

Like I said above, anyone who thinks the NFL is rigged is just coming up with an excuse for why they cannot win. Sure they can point to the NFL as an entertainment business that is “Allowed” to fix the outcome of games, but in reality you have to be on the right side of that theory if you truly believe it. Only one time this season did I truly question the game being rigged, and that was MNF Week 1 when Josh Allen looked autistic against the Jets in the second half and threw the ball to them every play. Since then, the Jets Defense has been making every QB look like their worst selves, so I will just see that game as 9/10 times Allen beats the Jets, and that was the 1/10.

This Thursday Night those Chiefs that are surrounded by so much controversy are hosting the Denver Broncos on a night where we only have one game to bet on.

Now how in the history of the world, are the terrible Denver Broncos, the same team that made Sam Howell look like Tom Brady, and the same team that somehow lost to the Jets while Zach Wilson continues to look like a High School Musical QB dropping the ball every time he gets sacked, and missing reads left and right. How in the history of the world, are the Denver Broncos going to compete with the Defending Super Bowl Champs Chiefs in Kansas City, on Primetime TV?

The only way the Broncos make this even close to a game, is if the NFL has something to do with it. This Chiefs run D is top notch, the secondary has been playing great and should continue that success against a Broncos passing attack that has been below par all year. There is not one thing in the world the Denver Broncos do great, and they are playing in Kansas City. The spread is -11.5, the Chiefs should dominate this game. The Chiefs should win by two TDs easy if not three. Tonight is a good indicator of how much you have to factor in, the NFL wanting the spread to be covered. Because there is no way, the Chiefs should not blow the game off this lid. I would take the Chiefs 1st Half -7 as well.
