The Seahawks stayed with the same coaching staff. After never being the team they were a handful of years ago when they could have defeated New England in the Super Bowl, can the Seahawks regain what they once had?

OFFENSE

The Seahawks offense is still under Russell Wilson’s control with young Brian Shotty still calling the action. The running game may be a bit different as Rashaad Penny is expected to be hurt all season even when he returns, while Carson is coming off another serious knee injury and will never be the same even if he is ready for Week 1. Marshawn Lynch may be needed for one more season.

The WR core is the same with Metcalf/Lockett & Moore, the big change is Greg Olsen coming into town, but expect a Jimmy Graham type of role at best and an inconsistent fantasy option. Still an upgrade over the no-name TEs like Dissly the Seahawks kept throwing out. Could be a 2 TE set frequently as Dissly was successful, but the Seahawks like to spread things out. We could see new addition Phillip Dorsett take Moore’s role, but that is not on the fantasy radar.

Seattle’s O-Line is more or less the same besides tackle Snell from the Jets who was not that great. Wilson has some talent on the O-Line with Brown and Iupati, but not enough talent to justify the fact he will still be moving in the pocket all season long in danger.

Seahawks offense does not seem that potent unless there is a good matchup.

DEFENSE

Seahawks did two good things to their pass rush. Adding Collier is okay, never got his chance yet, honestly ive seen better pass rushers with smaller names like Kennard on the Cardinals who will be more protective. Best move was bringing back Bruce Irvin Jr. who has worked very well with Ken Norton Jr. in the past. Clowney is still a FA and the Seahawks need his pass rush skills as they lost Ziggy Ansah and for now have no answer.

The LB core of KJ Wright and Bobby Wagner will always solidify that part of the field, but the rest of their secondary is still the same secondary that is in construction. Griffin is not a #1 CB and outside of Diggs at Saftey, the rest of this secondary is probably best suited as depth as opposed to being starters.

Seahawks are going to have trouble winning games this season.

BEAST

Almost 0% chance any Seahawk makes the BEAST DOME Draft Guide. If Antonio Brown comes to Seattle, that can definitely change things. For now, nothing.
