BEAST DOME NATION.

This is the recap of the Free Preseason content for those that did not get a BEAST package. All the BUST articles I wrote all Summer are linked to the players below. It is still not too late to get my info, I will re-work your team, SEASON BEAST coming soon. E-Mail [email protected] to learn more.

Once again, there were plenty of mistakes made by the Sheep Industry that put out bad information that strayed the opinions of many and they end up making crucial bad decisions that put a damper on their Fantasy season. These are the players you should have avoided.

1st ROUND – JA’MARR CHASE

*Chase will be a Top 10 WR this season, but he is being drafted as a Top 3 WR in the 1st Round. BEAST DOME is turning the other cheek. If he falls to Round 3 or late Round 2, he has good upside. He will not play like a Top 5 WR in Fantasy consistently every week, he is being drafted as he will be that guy.

Ja’Marr Chase had 5 games of over 100+ receiving yards last year, which means he had 12 that were under. Yes it was his Rookie season, and consistency should be better in year two as the start was a little slow. However drafting him in the 1st Round seems too radical of a move. Considering there are Legend WRs in Davante Adams and Stefon Diggs who go after Chase. Higgins/Boyd/Hurst/Mixon are all players that need to eat, Chase is going to be starving for numbers more often than you expect. You should not draft a WR in the first round who can play like a WR3 on your roster some weeks.

2nd ROUND – NICK CHUBB

Unless you are living under a massage parlor, Deshaun Watson has been suspended for the first 11 games. The Browns offense is looking a little rusty this preseason, and that will likely carry over as they try to make Jacoby Brissett learn an entire offense on the fly. Chubb is a superstar, but he is on an offense that could easily rank as one of the worst in the NFL.

*Chubb will be a Top 20 RB this season, he is being drafted as a Top 15 RB. There will still be nice games along the way this season, but he is not going to win you your league with MONSTER games, and will play like a RB2/RB3 too frequently. Let someone else take him in Round 2/3.

Feels like every year Chubb is on the Bust List and he always does (used to be a 1st Round Pick in all leagues).

EDGAR ALLEN BUST (THE RAVEN SERIES)

3rd ROUND – MARK ANDREWS

4th ROUND – LAMAR JACKSON

5th ROUND – BREECE HALL/J.K. DOBBINS

Click the two articles above to read about Hall (not part of series, but still a Bust) & Dobbins.

6th ROUND – MARQUISE BROWN

Click the article above to read about Brown.

7th ROUND – DARNELL MOONEY

Mooney has speed for days, and garbage time will be friendly to the WR who is looking more and more like the next version of Brandin Cooks. With that being said, Mooney is going way too early, in front of rock solid WRs who already have established NFL careers, and more established passing games behind them. Mooney is as Boom-Bust as it gets on a weekly basis. With Allen Robinson gone, Mooney has to face #1 CBs, which is not really the most favorable thing for him. Mooney goes too early.

8th ROUND – CLYDE EDWARDS HELAIRE

Click the article above to read about CEH.

9th ROUND – ELIJAH MOORE

Moore has talent, but the Jets offense does not look to be a consistent group. Similar to Mooney, Moore is going to benefit off of garbage time, but also similar, Moore is going in front of established WRs with good QBs. Moore may not have Zach Wilson for a month, the Jets want to run to begin with. Jets added Wilson at WR, they added Hall at RB, those are just two more weapons that need touches. How many guys can the Jets offense support on a consistent basis? Zero players is the correct answer.

10th ROUND – JAMES COOK

Yes James Cook may look similar to Dalvin Cook. Regardless the Bills are a potential Super Bowl team, and this team trusts their veterans in Devin Singletary and Zach Moss. Both of those RBs are more than capable of running the offense with no risk. Cook is an insurance RB if something happens to either of these guys. Which could easily happen as both have never been completely healthy in their careers.

11th ROUND WRs

TREYLON BURKS/SKYY MOORE/KADARIUS TONEY

(All 3 WRs will be on Waiver Wire before Week 4)

Burks. Last we checked, the Titans do not want to throw the ball ever. Why would the team’s #3/#4 weapon in the passing game be a player you would want to waste a valuable draft pick on?

Moore. The Skyy is not the limit for Moore who is Moore or less the #4 WR on the Chiefs. Skyy will be a good Special Teams player, yet he is drafted in a crucial depth round.

Toney. Giants are filled with WRs and Daniel Jones has zero favorites. The only favorite option in the passing game might be Saquon Barkley, and Toney is going way too early for a player who will play like a Waiver Wire option more often than not.

12th ROUND – JUSTIN FIELDS

Sheep are drafting Fields as a backup QB in all leagues. Crazy for a guy who is on a terrible offense with weapons in the passing game that would all be bench players if they were on the Chiefs and many other teams. Fields may have talent, but with the Bears, he is not going to display that. The Bears O-Line is below average, and Fields is still learning how to read NFL Defense. 3 TD in the final preseason game against backups really pumped up his draft value, let the Sheep take him.
