FANTASY FOOTBALL REALITY

TOM BRADY TO THE RAIDERS

By Muntradamus

BEAST DOME NATION.

Last night, Saturday August 20th, news broke out that Dana White had carved out a deal that would bring Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski to the Las Vegas Raiders, when the Raiders moved from Oakland in 2020. Out of nowhere with everything set in stone, Jon Gruden shut it down.

In all reality what was he, and the Raiders supposed to do with Derek Carr? While Tom Brady is the greatest QB of All-Time and a once-in-a-lifetime top of talent, the Raiders have thee’ Derek Carr. The same Derek Carr who made it to the Pro Bowl 3x. In life when once-in-a-lifetime opportunity comes, you grab it. The Raiders offense would have consisted of Gronk/Waller/Renfrow, which is similar to the success of the Gronk/Hernandez/Welker combination. The comedy between Gruden and Brady would make for some of the best behind the scene content known to Football history.

Instead, Gruden went reverse Al Pacino Any Given Sunday staying loyal to his man Dennis Quaid (Derek Carr) instead of going with the obvious superstar Jamie Foxx (Tom Brady). In the end of that movie, Pacino went with Foxx. But this is not a movie, and Jon Gruden is not going to have his Hollywood ending.

Gruden was once respected as one of the premier minds in the NFL. He came out of retirement and showed his head was in the wrong decade. Getting rid of Khalil Mack and Amari Cooper for peanuts, and not taking Tom Brady over Derek Carr will put a damper on the once brilliant NFL mind of Jon Gruden.
