The Bears Defense two seasons ago was destined to be the NFC Champions. What seems like such a long time ago, the Bears decided after a down year they needed to clean house. In comes Chuck Pagano, a Defensive mastermind who did a great job turning the Colts back into a respectable defense after the team fell to shambles. Pagano was part of the Ravens Coaching Staff in the Ray Lewis days. Take me back in time.

Khalil Mack is a BEAST. With Akeem Hicks and Eddie Goldman, nobody is moving the middle of the field and Mack attack has a free shot from the outside. To make sure that nobody can double team Mack, the Bears brought in Superstar talent Robert Quinn who has shown the potential to lead the NFL in Sacks.

In the middle of the field behind those BEASTS is Super Bowl Linebacker Danny Trevethan, who is joined by Superstar Roquan Smith. Right away this defense is more than scary, in fact, it is down right lethal. The Bears Defense is going to be dangerous especially with Eddie Jackson ready to turn into the next Ed Reed at Saftey. Chuck Pagano worked closely with Reed in Baltimore, this project will not take him long to reach Hall of Fame Status.

The Bears corners are beatable, and that is their downside. However the more you want to throw against the Bears, the more chances both Khalil Mack and Robert Quinn can turn into sack machines.

While it is too early to say the Bears Defense is our pick for this years BEAST DOME Defense. I will say it is a hard act for any defense to follow. I can be surprised though, did not expect the Cardinals Front 7 to be so lethal.
