FANTASY FOOTBALL JOE MIXON DO NOT DRAFT

By Muntradamus

BEAST DOME NATION.

Last year all the BEAST DOME MVPs who bought the Draft Guide were loving life. At least those who got Joe Mixon as I ranked him much higher than the ECR a season ago. Everything was going good, until Joe Mixon got injured. Mixon went from the best RB in Fantasy Football, to a guy who looked great, but was no longer getting the heavy volume. When Mixon touches the ball, he reminded the BEAST DOME NATION of a previous great Texans RB in Arian Foster.

This season the Texans decided to get Nick Chubb to be his backup. Chubb was another guy I told the BEAST DOME MVPs to stash away as he was a late pick. Chubb had a couple of solid games, but he also looked like half the RB he once was, Jerome Ford even looked more explosive.

This weekend the Texans decided to announce Joe Mixon is still not healthy, he may miss sometime this season and he will not practicing this camp. While that is not the most shocking news, that Mixon will not be practicing as he is the Texans system, the most shocking part is that the Texans are saying this may/should carry into the regular season.

Nick Chubb is one of those guys who we have to watch this preseason to see if he has his ‘Juice’ back. If Chubb can run hard and look explosive, that Texans RB situation will be absolutely untouchable. Even with the way it is right now, your team would be hard pressed to be relying on either RB when both are active. The reality of the situation is, Nick Chubb is too much of a legend to be on the sidelines a majority of every game. Unless the team is trailing, which happened to the Browns every week last season.

We still do not know how long Joe Mixon is OUT, but at this current position the BEAST Dome Draft Guide remains the same as it was before the news broke.
