FANTASY FOOTBALL BUST OF THE WEEK OLAVE TWIST (WEEK 3)

FANTASY FOOTBALL BUST OF THE WEEK
OLAVE TWIST (WEEK 3)
By Muntradamus
BEAST DOME NATION.
We are two weeks through the season, and so far Chris Olave has been semi-living up to his second round draft hype with 198 Total Yards. While his fantasy owners want to take their victory lap, Chris Olave barely has been a good fantasy option, let me explain.
Week 1, with 5 minutes to go in the game Chris Olave is sitting below 90. He makes a 15 yard catch, he ends up with his 112, and his fantasy owners are happy.
Week 2, Olave is sitting under 60 Yards as the 3rd quarter is ending, Olave gets his deep bomb ends up with 86 yards.
While these totals are getting the job done, barely, that is all they are doing. However, a second-round pick that is struggling to break double-digit points in standard leagues until late in the 2nd half is concerning. The season is young and he has a barely passing grade. Though we must ask, what happens if he does not make those clutch late-game catches?
Week 3, Olave is going up against Jaire Alexander and the Green Bay Packers in Lambeau. Alexander has had some nice moments against Justin Jefferson, and guess what, Olave is nowhere near Jefferson. In fact, Derek Carr is more the problem than Olave. Carr will make a bad throw 7/10 times, and on the road in Green Bay that is not going to work. Chris Olave finally does not come through in the 4th quarter, and Olave’s fantasy owners are now going to deal with the reality that their 2nd Round WR is really a hit-or-miss player.
