FANTASY FOOTBALL BUST OF THE (WEEK 9)

SILENCE OF THE LAMB

By Muntradamus

BEAST DOME NATION.

CD aka Ceedee Lamb has had a very quiet season heading into Week 8, then he finally broke out. 158 Yards and 2 TDs, he nearly got his whole Fantasy Football season point-wise in just one game as he now sits at 633 Yards and 3 TDs. The encore performance? A very tough matchup against Darius Slay and the Eagles in Philly.

While it is easy to always get excited about Lamb, the one thing we have learned over his very young career is that consistency is never part of the picture. While it is fun to get excited about his ceiling, in a matchup like he has today, you have to be more worried about his floor. Dak is never the same QB on the road that he is at home, and the Eagles defense is also always much better at home than it is on the road.

The Cowboys grabbed Brandin Cooks this off-season and even though Cooks has not been doing anything, his little bit of action has stopped the flow to both Gallup and Lamb from really being the superstars they can be. Lamb is definitely the guy, and even though we have not seen it this year consistently, we will continue to not see it again this week.
