SOMETHING’S GOTTA GIBBS

The Fantasy Football season started out as a nightmare for every sheep Fantasy owner who drafted Jahmyr Gibbs with their 3rd round pick. First 4 weeks of the season, he left his fantasy owners with horrible performances making their odds of making the playoffs slim to none. Then a hamstring injury shelved him for a few weeks making him worthless. Than an injury to David Montgomery allowed Gibbs to play like a RB1. Now Jahmyr Gibbs finds himself back in square one, a running back by committee.

The first cycle of Gibbs showed us he has the potential to be a great Fantasy RB when he gets his opportunity. The only problem is that the opportunity will not be there when David Montgomery is at full strength. Last week Gibbs shut everyone up with 2 TDs and 100+ Total yards with a healthy David Montgomery. David MontyG got his 100+ and TD as well, but at least for Gibbs owners, he put up numbers and their confidence is steady for the Rookie RB.

Now all the Sheep are rushing to the front lines to get slaughtered in Week 11 against the Bears. While Gibbs does have a role, his consistency moving forward will be less consistent than this past month has been. Starting with a revenge game for David Montgomery against his old team in the Bears. While Gibbs can make some big plays here and there, this game is all about Daivd MontyG. Gibbs will be a change of pace/cheerleader for Montgomery on Sunday, his Fantasy Owners will be wearing the skirt.
