Last Sunday we saw maybe the game of the year between the Bucs/Texans in Houston on Sunday. A total of four TDs in the fourth quarter that was capped by Stroud’s FIFTH TD! of the game in the closing seconds for the win. While the game was very impressive on both sides, a lot of CJ Stroud owners will be living in the past in Week 9 when it comes to Stroud in Week 10.

This Sunday Stroud is on the road. Far from his cozy dome, he is now out in Fall weather on a Sunday afternoon. He is going up against a Bengals defense that has proven to be beatable, but there is one thing missing. What could it be? How about his number one WR, Nico Collins, who was a sleeper part of the BEAST DOME Draft Guide as I ranked him +13 ahead of the ECR in my Draft Rankings. Nico is not playing this Sunday.

With no Nico Collins, nor a reliable running game with Devin Singletary as the starter. Stroud does not have the weapons to beat a strong enough Bengals defense that looked very solid against the Bills on SNF. Granted the Bengals are without a couple key starters on defense, they should do well enough to eliminate the upside the Texans offense has shown this season. There have been many times where Stroud has not looked good on the road, I do not expect that trend to change without his best weapon for the first time in his career.
