FANTASY FOOTBALL BIG TUSH, LITTLE TUSH

FANTASY FOOTBALL
BIG TUSH, LITTLE TUSH
By Muntradamus
BEAST DOME NATION.
When I was a kid before 3rd grade, my parents threw me a birthday party for me and my friends to go see a play. Big Tush, Little Tush. I could not tell you one thing I remember from the play, but I do remember getting All-Star Baseball on PC, and I must have played that game for Months. You would pick where to pitch it, batter would guess where to hit it. Then you watch as Al Michaels would call the play with real life footage of the players in the MLB All-Star Game that year (1995). You could see Barry Bonds hit a pop out to Ken Griffey Jr. You would not time the swing, you just click, and watch. If you wanted the player to bunt, he would bunt etc.
For centuries, the QB sneak was a staple in the NFL. If it was a short yardage play, the QB would risk a concussion and put his head down for those extra inches. When a QB ran for a TD, it was respected. Cam Newton and his 75 rushing TDs, legendary. A few years after Cam left the game, the Eagles invented something called, the “Tush Push.” Which is essentially a rugby pile where the offense determines when the rugby pileup begins. A few teams have mastered it, and it is only a matter of time before every team does. It is clearly an advantage play for the offense with a success rate of 99.99%, the NFL decided not to ban it earlier this week.
Someone made an argument saying getting rid of the “Tush Push” is like getting rid of bunting in Baseball. This could not be further from the truth. If the Tush Push was like bunting in Baseball, that means every bunt is a single. A normal QB sneak without the “Tush Push” was not a guaranteed yardage pickup. With the Tush Push, might as well move the chains without the need to snap the ball, automatic 1st Down.
Not to mention Jalen Hurts breaking all these QB records for rushing TDs while having grown men push his ass in the end zone. When you look at Cam Newton’s rushing TDs you think, wow what a legend! However watching them now you think, they could have run the Tush Push there, they could have run the Tush Push there. It might have even saved Cam’s body for a few more years the punishing hits he took finding the end zone.
All in all, I do not like the Tush Push at all. It is not a Football play, it is a rugby play, and this is not rugby. What is next? Drop Kicking the ball at random times to kick through the uprights for points? I talk about the Fantasy Football impact of the Tush Push moving forward in the latest Tim Boyle & BEAST Show.
