HYDE & GO BEAST is back! Many of you have had the BEAST DOME Legend at extreme great values over the years because he is a RB that is consistently undervalued. Last we saw Carlos Hyde have some useful games filling in for Chris Carson last season, but the most telling moment of all was when he was with the Chiefs in 2019. The Chiefs decided they were going to cut Carlos Hyde, only at the final moment he was traded to the Texans right before the preseason came to a close. With the Texans he rushed for over 1,000 Yards and was a staple of the BEAST DOME Draft Strategy to get in the late rounds.
Now Carlos Hyde is in Jacksonville where the Jaguars have had one of the most successful rushing attacks in the NFL. Most of that has to do with how synchronized the Offensive line is playing. Every play the O-Line creates gashing holes for James Robinson, they could call the O-Line N-Sync if they really wanted to. With James Robinson going to miss multiple weeks, the pathway is cleared for HYDE & GO BEAST to put up some RB1 performances.
The Jaguars are already out of it this season, James Robinson is the Franchise RB for this team with Travis Etienne. There is no reason to push Robinson the rest of the year, and you can bet the Jaguars will let Carlos Hyde loose so he can find another contract somewhere else and be a backup RB.
