The last Waiver Wire article before the All-Star Break. Good opportunity to look back at all the calls in the 1st Half of the season as we prepare for MLB Season to come to an end.

During the MLB All-Star Break I will go over my BEAST picks of the season.

The reason we are going Throwback Sunday is because of the two start pitchers I am reccomending.

JHOULYS CHACIN – MIL

Chacin has two good matchups this week, but more important of all he is pitching very well. The Brewers offense is stacked with talent and as long as Chacin throws a Quality Start, he will likely end up with a win. Against two offenses in Miami and Pittsburgh, Chacin can easily escape with two wins.

JEREMY HELLICKSON – WAS

Hellickson is another guy who was once reccomended as a Waiver Wire add. He came off the DL pitched well, but then last week he got crushed against the Marlins of all teams. Hellickson is way better than that and he has two matchups against Pittsburgh and the Mets which should equal to Quality Starts. The Nationals offense can definitely give Hellickson enough support to pickup two wins.

WAIVER WIRE HITTER ADD

JORGE POLANCO – MIN

Not the first time I gave Polanco love. Jorge is back from his steroid suspension and has the tools to steal bases and hit HRs. The Twins are playing him everyday and he has been everywhere in the batting order. Look for Polanco to have a very strong end to the season and is a great add in all leagues.
